Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,483 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 401 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight aboard the Boeing 737-800 started with a 7-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at GCLP Gran Canaria. The departure took place from runway 03L, with a takeoff distance of 1,276 meters, covering 41% of the runway. The liftoff speed was recorded at 154 knots. The local weather at the time of departure was 24°C, with a 5-knot wind coming from 100° resulting in a 4-knot crosswind and 1-knot headwind.
The enroute climb began overhead GCLP Gran Canaria and lasted for 16 minutes, during which the aircraft climbed from 1,100 feet above sea level to 30,170 feet, covering a distance of 86 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 62 miles northeast of Tegueste and lasted for 18 minutes, covering 124 nm.
As the flight progressed, the enroute descent began 84 miles southeast of Canico (Madeira, Portugal). The descent lasted 22 minutes as the aircraft descended from 29,785 feet above sea level to 1,807 feet, a decrease of 27,978 feet over 81 nautical miles.
The landing occurred on runway 05 at LPMA Madeira, which has a runway length of 2,483 meters. The aircraft touched down 401 meters from the threshold at a speed of 130 knots, with a vertical speed indicator reading of -83 ft/min. The total landing distance covered was 1,403 meters, equivalent to 56% of the runway length. The local weather at the destination showed a temperature of 22°C, with a light 2-knot wind coming from 40°, resulting in no crosswind and a 2-knot headwind.

Congratulations on an outstanding aircraft landing score of 98.8%! Let's break down your performance in each phase of the landing process to see what you did exceptionally well.
During the Approach Phase, you demonstrated excellent glideslope alignment, which is crucial for a smooth and precise descent towards the runway. Additionally, having your speed slightly below target shows that you were in control of the aircraft and adjusting accordingly to meet the necessary parameters for a successful landing.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you excelled in maintaining a good threshold height, allowing for a well-executed landing flare. This indicates a high level of skill in timing and technique, resulting in a smooth touchdown on the runway.
In the Touchdown Phase, your performance was exceptional in multiple areas. Your touchdown rate was excellent, showcasing your ability to land the aircraft smoothly and with precision. Moreover, maintaining the correct speed and touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone indicates a high level of accuracy and proficiency in your landing approach. Additionally, your runway touchdown position was very good, further highlighting your skill in aligning the aircraft with the runway upon touchdown.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, indicating a successful transition from touchdown to rollout while maintaining proper alignment on the runway. This ensures a safe and efficient exit from the runway after landing.
Overall, your landing score of 98.8% reflects your outstanding performance in each phase of the landing process. Your attention to detail, precision, and skill in maintaining critical parameters throughout the landing demonstrate a high level of proficiency and professionalism as a pilot. Keep up the great work and continue to strive for excellence in your future landings. Well done!
