Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,987 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 381 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
First of all, congratulations on achieving a landing score of 94.3%! This is a fantastic result and shows excellent skill and precision in flying the aircraft.
In analyzing the different phases of the landing, it appears that there were some areas that could be improved upon but overall, the performance was very strong.
Starting with the Approach Phase, it is noted that the descent path was above the glideslope limit. This can be corrected by making slight adjustments to the descent rate in order to stay within the desired path. By paying close attention to the instruments and making timely corrections, you can ensure a smoother descent in future landings.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is great to see that the landing flare was very good. This indicates a good sense of timing and control during the final moments before touchdown. However, the threshold height being above the target suggests the need for a slightly earlier flare to reduce the height at which the aircraft touches down.
In the Touchdown Phase, the touchdown rate being very hard and the speed being slightly above target are areas that can be improved upon. Aim for a softer touchdown by adjusting the descent rate and ensuring that the speed is within the desired range. Additionally, positioning the aircraft closer to the centreline during touchdown can help improve alignment on the runway.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, maintaining a consistent runway alignment is important for a smooth and precise landing. By making small corrections to the aircraft's position, you can ensure that it stays close to the centreline throughout the rollout phase.
Overall, your performance in this landing was very strong, but there are areas where small adjustments can be made to further improve your skills. Keep practicing and paying attention to the details, and you will continue to see improvement in your landings. Well done on a job well done!
