MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,334 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 561 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL), the aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. Upon reaching runway 05R, the aircraft initiated its departure roll, utilizing 59% of the 1,415-meter runway to achieve liftoff at a speed of 164 knots. The local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 15°C, with a wind speed of 11 knots from a direction of 340°, resulting in a crosswind component of 11 knots and a headwind component of 3 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from Düsseldorf, it began its enroute climb, ascending from an initial altitude of 905 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 23,007 feet, a vertical gain of 22,102 feet in just 9 minutes. This climb phase covered a distance of 51 nautical miles, bringing the aircraft to a point northeast of Düsseldorf. The enroute level cruise phase that followed, which lasted 7 minutes and covered 57 nautical miles, took place overhead the town of Havixbeck. The aircraft then commenced its enroute descent, reducing its altitude from 23,006 feet to 4,877 feet in 12 minutes, a vertical loss of 18,130 feet, as it covered a distance of 65 nautical miles. This descent phase concluded near the town of Freistatt, after which the aircraft entered a second enroute level cruise phase, lasting 6 minutes and covering 22 nautical miles, as it flew west of Wilsche. The final descent phase, which began near Burgdorf, brought the aircraft down to an altitude of 1,499 feet in just 3 minutes, a vertical loss of 3,208 feet, as it covered a distance of 10 nautical miles.
The aircraft then initiated its final approach to runway 27L at Hannover Airport (EDDV), aligning itself with the runway from the east at a heading of 273.0°, 4 nautical miles from the threshold and at an altitude of 1,317 feet above ground level. The landing was executed on a runway length of 2,337 meters, with a threshold speed of 126 knots and a touchdown point located 143 meters beyond the touchdown zone. Although the touchdown speed of 116 knots was slightly above the recommended value, the touchdown rate of -288 feet per minute was considered fair. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, despite a slight misalignment of the runway rollout by 8.1 meters from the centerline. The total landing distance was 1,329 meters, accounting for 57% of the runway length. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 215 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 55 minutes and a fuel consumption of 794 kilograms.
The aircraft, C750, successfully completed a landing on runway 27L at EDDV Hannover Airport, with a final approach initiated from the east at a heading of 273.0°, 4 nautical miles from the threshold and at an altitude of 1,317 feet above ground level. The approach quality was good, with a threshold height that met the required standards. The threshold speed of 126 knots was also satisfactory, indicating a well-executed approach.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed of 116 knots was slightly above the ideal, resulting in a touchdown rate of -288 feet per minute, which was considered fair. The touchdown point was located 143 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, but the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating a high degree of control and precision during the landing. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 14°C and a gentle wind of 6 knots from 9°, contributed to a smooth and stable approach.
The total landing distance of 1,329 meters was 57% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.1 meters from the centreline, indicating a minor deviation from the ideal path. Despite this, the overall performance of the aircraft and the crew was impressive, with a score of 96.1% reflecting a high level of proficiency and skill.
