Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,819 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,819 m of the 3,194 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 663 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 28 at Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport (ZYTL). The takeoff distance was 817 meters, which accounted for 27% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 134 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 4°C, with a wind speed of 6 knots at 259°.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at ZYTX Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, achieving a high score of 94.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 229.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,275 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions, which included a temperature of -3°C and a gentle wind of 3 knots at 101°.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 24, which has a length of 3,194 meters. The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 100 knots, coming in at 98 knots. The touchdown point was 269 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively safe distance. The touchdown speed of 89 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -104 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating a controlled descent.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and attention to detail. The local weather conditions, including a gentle tailwind of 2 knots, did not pose any significant challenges to the landing. The total landing distance of 1,761 meters was 55% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
During the rollout, the aircraft maintained a very good alignment with the runway, indicating that the pilot had maintained control and was able to smoothly transition from the landing phase to the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was executed safely and efficiently, with the pilot demonstrating a high level of skill and expertise.
