MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,488 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,240 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a P180 FFX, then departed from runway 24 at Vnukovo International Airport (UUWW). The takeoff distance was 2,918 feet, which was 25% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 120 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 44°F and a wind speed of 7 knots from a direction of 239°. The crosswind component was 1 knot, while the headwind component was 7 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile west of Annino in the Moscow Oblast, Russia. The climb took place from an altitude of 1,277 feet above sea level to 4,863 feet above sea level, an increase of 3,586 feet in just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting 3 miles south of Aprelevka in the Moscow Oblast, Russia. This phase lasted for 3 minutes and covered a distance of 12 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 4,917 feet above sea level to 34,870 feet above sea level, an increase of 29,953 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 67 nautical miles. This climb phase started 11 miles southeast of Naro-Fominsk in the Moscow Oblast, Russia.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 7 miles southeast of Babynino in the Kaluga Oblast, Russia. This phase lasted for 93 minutes and covered a distance of 733 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 9 miles southeast of Zlatni Pyasatsi in Varna, Bulgaria. The descent took place from an altitude of 35,470 feet above sea level to 1,375 feet above sea level, a decrease of 34,095 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 52 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 04 at Burgas Airport (LBBG) was made from the southwest, heading 44.0° at an altitude of 1,254 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 04, which had a length of 10,488 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 118 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 1,231 feet, and the touchdown speed was 106 knots, which was also good. The touchdown rate was excellent at -78 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 12 feet from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 36°F and a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 230°. The crosswind component was 0 knots, while the tailwind component was 5 knots. The total landing distance was 3,061 feet, which was 29% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 881 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 149 minutes. The aircraft used 1,867 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The aircraft, identified as FFX P180 03 01, successfully landed at LBBG Burgas Airport, achieving a score of 99.5%. The final approach to runway 04 was conducted from the south west, with a heading of 44.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,254 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 118 kt, which was within the acceptable threshold speed. The touchdown distance of 1,231 feet was also within the expected range, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 106 kt was slightly lower than the threshold speed, but still within the acceptable limits.
One notable aspect of the landing was the touchdown rate, which was an excellent -78 feet per minute (fpm). This suggests that the aircraft was able to touch down with minimal impact, reducing the risk of damage to the aircraft and the runway.
However, there was a slight deviation from the centerline, with the runway touchdown position being 12 feet off-center. This may be due to a slight misalignment of the aircraft during the final approach or a slight drift during the landing roll.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 36°F and a wind speed of 5 kt from a direction of 230°. This resulted in a crosswind of 0 kt and a tailwind of 5 kt, which may have contributed to the slight deviation from the centerline.
The total landing distance of 3,061 feet was 29% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was very good, suggesting that the aircraft was able to maintain a stable and controlled roll-out after touchdown.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and stability throughout the approach and landing phases.
