MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Improve the touchdown
There are several things that can go wrong during the flare, carrying too much speed over the threshold, starting the flare at the wrong height and inconsistent flight control inputs, all contribute to a poor flare resulting in a hard touchdown or a float down the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
At the 500 ft gate: gear still up, sink rate above what the glideslope needed, off the runway's 3° glideslope and off the centreline.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,524 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 26 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320 taxied from the parking area to runway 25 at EDDS Stuttgart Airport in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 25, the aircraft accelerated over a takeoff distance of 1,210 m, representing 36 % of the runway length, and lifted off at 157 kt. Ambient conditions were a temperature of 24 °C, wind from 210° at 5 kt, with a 4 kt headwind component and a 4 kt crosswind component.
Climb commenced about 1 mile southeast of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, with the airplane climbing from 2,191 ft asl to 14,428 ft asl, a gain of 12,237 ft achieved in 3 minutes while covering 10 nm.
Level cruise was established overhead Hildrizhausen and was maintained for 3 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 11 nm.
In total, the flight covered 23 nm in 14 minutes and used 2,078 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 07 at OPBN Bannu Airport was conducted from the west on a heading of 70.0 ° at 4 nm and 701 ft agl, with ambient temperature 34 °C, wind 1 kt from 11 °, a 1 kt cross-wind component and no head-wind.
Threshold height was reported as good and the threshold speed was well above target at 77 kt.
Touchdown occurred 424 m down the runway; touchdown speed was fast at 68 kt and the vertical rate was fair at minus 248 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The aircraft used a total landing distance of 1,488 m, representing 77 % of the 1,945 m runway, and rollout alignment was slightly off centreline by 10.9 m.
With a final score of 95.7 %, attention should be given to reducing the threshold and touchdown speeds toward their targets to minimise runway usage, and to correcting the slight rollout drift to maintain centreline alignment.
