Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,891 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 235 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, an Airbus A319, then departed from runway 23 at EDDH Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,528 meters, which is 55% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 155 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 4°C, with a wind speed of 8 knots at 240°.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northwest of Hamburg-Nord. The climb took 18 minutes and covered a distance of 107 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,050 feet above sea level to 37,518 feet above sea level, an increase of 36,468 feet. The enroute level cruise then started 1 mile south of Heudeber, Saxony-Anhalt, and lasted for 23 minutes, covering a distance of 174 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started overhead Roding, Bavaria, and took 20 minutes to descend from 36,572 feet above sea level to 9,354 feet above sea level, a decrease of 27,219 feet. The descent covered a distance of 107 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, this time starting overhead Radfeld, Tirol, Austria, and lasting for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The final enroute descent started overhead Gallzein, Tirol, Austria, and took 6 minutes to descend from 8,864 feet above sea level to 3,216 feet above sea level, a decrease of 5,648 feet. The descent covered a distance of 15 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 26 at LOWI Innsbruck Airport, approaching from the east at a heading of 259.0° and at an altitude of 1,304 feet above ground level, 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing was made on runway 26 at LOWI Innsbruck Airport, which has a length of 1,891 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed at 128 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 234 meters, and the touchdown speed was 127 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was hard at -417 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 3.3 meters.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of -1°C, with a wind speed of 2 knots at 191°. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 1 knot. The total landing distance was 939 meters, which is 50% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. After landing, the aircraft took 7 minutes to taxi to the parking from the runway, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 418 nautical miles, and the flight took 84 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 3,078 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A319 successfully landed at Innsbruck Airport (LOWI) with a score of 97.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 259.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,304 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was made to runway 26, which has a length of 1,891 meters.
The threshold height was reported as good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway threshold. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 128 knots, which may have been due to the aircraft's descent rate or the pilot's decision to flare earlier than expected. Despite this, the touchdown distance was good at 234 meters, and the touchdown speed of 127 knots was also within acceptable limits.
However, the touchdown rate was reported as hard at -417 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate that the aircraft touched down with a higher than desired rate of descent. This could be due to a number of factors, including the aircraft's approach configuration, the pilot's technique, or the wind conditions.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.3 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the crosswind or the pilot's alignment with the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were reported as a temperature of -1°C and a wind of 2 knots at 191°, with a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 939 meters, which is 50% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to stop quickly after touchdown. The runway rollout alignment was reported as very good, indicating that the aircraft was aligned with the runway centerline after touchdown and was able to stop safely.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor issues with the touchdown rate and runway alignment. However, the aircraft was able to stop safely and the pilot was able to maintain control throughout the landing.
