Departure
Start bringing the nose up as the speed reaches 61 kt, not after it.
What happened: You started the rotation at 72 kt, 11 kt past the 61 kt rotation speed.
Watch for: Airspeed indicator: 61 kt at rotation

A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,494 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 140 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Cessna CT206G departed from runway 27 at EGPN Dundee Airport, applying a take-off roll of 344 m which represented 25 % of the available runway. Rotation was achieved at 72 kt. Ambient conditions were 15 °C with a 2 kt wind from 270°, providing a 2 kt headwind and zero crosswind.
During climb the aircraft passed overhead Invergowrie (Perth and Kinross, Scotland), ascending from 910 ft asl to 993 ft asl. The altitude gain of 83 ft was completed in 1 minute while covering 1 nm.
Level cruise commenced 1 mile south of Invergowrie and continued for 4 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 8 nm at a steady altitude.
The descent to EGQL Leuchars Station Airfield began from 1,003 ft agl and proceeded to 11 ft agl in 164 seconds, establishing the final approach profile.
Final approach was made to runway 08 at EGQL, with the aircraft scoring on the stabilisation gates. Weather remained 15 °C, wind 2 kt from 270°, crosswind zero and a 2 kt tailwind component.
Landing on runway 08 was executed on a runway 2,494 m long with a good threshold height. The threshold speed was slightly above target at 70 kt, while touchdown occurred 140 m down the runway at 63 kt. The touchdown rate was minus 68 fpm and runway alignment was perfect.
In total the flight covered 14 nm, took 7 minutes, and consumed 4 kg of fuel.
