Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 747 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 747 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 107 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 27 at LRPW Gheorghe Valentin Bibescu, a Romanian airfield. The Cessna Skyhawk aircraft accelerated down the runway, covering a distance of 305 meters, which accounted for 32% of the runway's length. The liftoff speed was achieved at 58 knots, marking the start of the aircraft's ascent into the sky.
As the aircraft climbed, it encountered local weather conditions consisting of a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a gentle headwind of 2 knots blowing from a direction of 269 degrees. The crosswind component was negligible, with a speed of 0 knots. The enroute level cruise phase began overhead the airfield, lasting for 3 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile.
The final approach to runway 26 at LRPW Gheorghe Valentin Bibescu was initiated from the east, with the aircraft heading towards the runway at a bearing of 263.0 degrees. At an altitude of 159 feet above ground level and 1 nautical mile from the runway, the aircraft began its descent.
The landing on runway 26 was executed with a threshold speed that was slightly below the target speed of 50 knots, at 46 knots. The touchdown distance was good, covering a distance of 104 meters, which accounted for 32% of the runway's length. The touchdown speed was also within acceptable limits, at 46 knots. However, the touchdown rate was fair, at -264 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline, by 7.8 meters. The local weather conditions remained the same, with a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a headwind of 2 knots blowing from a direction of 270 degrees. The crosswind component was still negligible, with a speed of 0 knots.
The total landing distance was 242 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned from the centreline, by 8.1 meters. The total flight distance was 2 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 5 minutes. The aircraft used 2 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Skyhawk successfully landed at LRPW Gheorghe Valentin Bibescu with a score of 94.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 263.0° at 1 nm and 159 ft above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a smooth final approach, touching down on runway 26, which has a length of 747 meters.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 50 kt, which may have been due to the pilot's decision to prioritize a smooth landing over achieving the exact target speed. The touchdown distance of 104 meters was good, and the touchdown speed of 46 kt was also within acceptable limits.
Despite the good touchdown speed, the touchdown rate of -264 fpm was only fair. A more ideal touchdown rate would have been closer to zero, indicating a smoother landing. Additionally, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.8 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment during the approach.
The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 2 kt at 270°. The crosswind was negligible, and the headwind was minimal, which made the landing conditions relatively easy. The total landing distance of 242 meters was 32% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and the runway's length.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.1 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the pilot's continued deviation from the centerline after touchdown. Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor deviations from the ideal performance.
