MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 500 ft gate: sink rate above what the glideslope needed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,751 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,751 m of the 3,356 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 666 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco, the Boeing 777-200ER began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. As the aircraft lined up on runway 35R, it was cleared for departure, and with a takeoff distance of 1,461 meters, which accounted for 39% of the runway, the aircraft lifted off at a speed of 174 knots. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 22°C, with a wind speed of 12 knots at 40°, resulting in a crosswind of 10 knots and a headwind of 6 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Casablanca, it began its enroute climb, reaching an altitude of 35,989 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 124 nautical miles. The climb was followed by a level cruise, which lasted for 42 minutes and covered 337 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 36,203 feet to 37,847 feet, before entering another level cruise phase, which lasted for 200 minutes and covered 1,546 nautical miles. The aircraft continued to climb and cruise, with the final level cruise phase lasting for 151 minutes and covering 1,057 nautical miles. As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent, which took 22 minutes to complete, covering a distance of 122 nautical miles and a vertical distance of 38,589 feet.
The Boeing 777-200ER landed on runway 09 at Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados, with a total landing distance of 1,638 meters, which accounted for 49% of the runway. The touchdown point was 217 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 111 knots, which was within the acceptable range. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, a process that took approximately 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 3,219 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 448 minutes, with a total fuel consumption of 44,560 kilograms.
The Boeing 777-200ER touched down on runway 09 at TBPB Grantley Adams International Airport, marking a satisfactory conclusion to the approach from the west. The aircraft's final approach was initiated at 4 nautical miles from the runway threshold, at an altitude of 1,238 feet above ground level, and a heading of 76.0 degrees. The approach quality was good, with a threshold speed of 132 knots, which was within the acceptable range. However, the threshold height at 95 feet above ground level was significantly above the target, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal approach path.
The touchdown characteristics were satisfactory, with a touchdown speed of 111 knots, which was good. However, the touchdown rate was hard, at -403 feet per minute, indicating a slight loss of control during the landing. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft remaining centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a headwind of 15 knots, contributed to a smooth landing. The crosswind component was minimal, at 4 knots, which further aided the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,638 meters, which accounted for 49% of the runway length, was within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, with the aircraft remaining centered on the runway throughout the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was satisfactory, with a score of 83.0%. While there were some minor deviations from the ideal approach and landing, the aircraft's performance was generally good, and the crew's skills were demonstrated in maintaining control throughout the landing.
