Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 152 m above the runway. The 305 m gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,065 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 329 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, taking approximately 9 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 03R, with a takeoff distance of 1,372 meters, which is 40% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 148 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 18°C temperature and a wind speed of 0 knots at 0 degrees. The enroute climb started approximately 1 mile south-west of Artemida, Greece, and continued for 20 minutes, covering a distance of 120 nautical miles. During this time, the aircraft climbed from an altitude of 376 meters above sea level to 11,718 meters above sea level, an increase of 11,341.1 meters.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started approximately 9 miles south-east of Myrina, Greece. This phase lasted for 9 minutes and covered a distance of 68 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, which started approximately 4 miles south of Alexandroupoli, Greece. The descent from 11,711 meters above sea level to 2,742 meters above sea level took 20 minutes, covering a distance of 104 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started approximately 5 miles north-east of Canta, Turkey. This phase lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent again, which started approximately 3 miles east of Cerkezkoey, Turkey. The descent from 2,741 meters above sea level to 1,217 meters above sea level took 11 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started approximately 9 miles north of Cerkezkoey, Turkey. This phase lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 9 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent once more, which started approximately 16 miles north-east of Cerkezkoey, Turkey. The descent from 1,220 meters above sea level to 922 meters above sea level took 2 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started approximately 22 miles north-west of LTFM İstanbul Airport, Turkey. This phase lasted for 9 minutes and covered a distance of 18 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 17L at LTFM İstanbul Airport took place from the north, with the aircraft heading at 179.0 degrees at an altitude of 389.0 meters above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 17L at LTFM İstanbul Airport took place with a runway length of 4,065 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 122 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 330 meters, and the touchdown speed was 118 knots, which was also good. The touchdown rate was good at -0.9 meters per second.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.5 meters from the centreline, and the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 12.6 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 16°C temperature and a wind speed of 0 knots at 0 degrees.
The total landing distance was 1,081 meters, which is 27% of the runway length. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 20 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 17L at LTFM İstanbul Airport, achieving a high score of 94.8%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north, heading 179.0° at an altitude of 389.0 meters above ground level (agl) and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was slightly below the target threshold speed of 122 knots, registering at 118 knots. This was still considered good, as it indicates a controlled descent and a smooth landing. The touchdown distance of 330 meters was also within acceptable limits, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed and altitude during the final approach.
The landing rate, which measures the rate at which the aircraft descends during the landing, was also good at -0.9 meters per second. This suggests that the pilot maintained a steady and controlled descent, which is essential for a safe landing.
However, there were some minor deviations from the ideal landing performance. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.5 meters from the centerline, which may require some adjustments to the pilot's approach and landing technique. Additionally, the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 12.6 meters from the centerline, which may indicate some issues with the pilot's ability to maintain a straight course during the rollout phase.
The local weather conditions were favorable for the landing, with a temperature of 16°C and no wind. This made it easier for the pilot to maintain control of the aircraft during the final approach and landing. Overall, the Airbus A320's landing performance was good, with some minor areas for improvement.
