Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,750 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 458 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a remarkable aircraft landing score of 98.8%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly outstanding and showcased your precision and skill as a pilot.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, indicating a high level of accuracy in descending towards the runway. Although your speed was slightly below target, this minor deviation did not impact the overall smoothness of the landing.
Moving onto the Landing Phase, your execution of the landing flare was perfect, resulting in a smooth touchdown on the runway. Your threshold height was good, further demonstrating your ability to control the aircraft during the critical moments before touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was flawless, and your speed was right on target. Additionally, the touchdown distance well within the touchdown zone shows your proficiency in precisely placing the aircraft on the runway. The runway touchdown position being very good reflects your attention to detail in aligning the aircraft properly for a safe landing.
Finally, during the Rollout Phase, the slightly off-center runway alignment by 3.9 meters from the centerline is a minor deviation that did not significantly impact the overall quality of the landing. Your ability to maintain control and steer the aircraft after touchdown is commendable.
Overall, your excellent performance across all phases of the landing process showcases your dedication to precision and safety in aviation. Keep up the fantastic work, and continue striving for excellence in every flight you undertake. Your attention to detail and skill as a pilot are truly impressive, and I have no doubt that you will continue to excel in your future landing endeavors. Great job!
