Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,189 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 620 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 23L at Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL), with a takeoff distance of 697 meters, which accounted for 29% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 141 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions of 5°C temperature and a wind speed of 13 knots at 160 degrees. The crosswind was 13 knots, while the headwind was 4 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Düsseldorf Airport, where the aircraft climbed from 1,364 feet above sea level to 23,005 feet above sea level, an increase of 21,641 feet in 8 minutes, covering a distance of 43 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 4 miles northwest of Haltern am See, lasting 9 minutes and covering 62 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent overhead Lembruch, descending from 22,975 feet above sea level to 3,966 feet above sea level, a decrease of 19,009 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 71 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed 2 miles southwest of Stolzenau, lasting 2 minutes and covering 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent overhead Rehburg-Loccum, descending from 4,004 feet above sea level to 1,573 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,430 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 09L at Hannover Airport (EDDV) was made from the west, heading 93.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,387 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown point 193 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 103 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was -175 feet per minute, also good. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 3°C temperature and a wind speed of 14 knots at 149 degrees. The crosswind was 12 knots, while the headwind was 8 knots. The total landing distance was 1,050 meters, which accounted for 33% of the runway. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.4 meters from the centerline.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 205 nautical miles, taking 49 minutes, and the aircraft used 670 kilograms of fuel.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed at EDDV Hannover Airport, achieving a score of 94.6%. The final approach was conducted from the west, heading 93.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,387 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft then landed on runway 09L, which has a length of 3,189 meters.
The landing was characterized by a good threshold height, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway. The threshold speed was also satisfactory at 116 knots, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed during the approach. The touchdown point was 193 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation but still within acceptable limits.
The touchdown speed of 103 knots was also good, indicating that the pilot had successfully managed the aircraft's descent and speed during the landing. The touchdown rate of -175 feet per minute (fpm) was within the acceptable range, further demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 3°C and winds of 14 knots at 149°. The crosswind component was 12 knots, while the headwind component was 8 knots. These conditions presented a moderate challenge for the pilot, but they were still able to achieve a successful landing.
The total landing distance was 1,050 meters, which is 33% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the pilot had successfully managed the aircraft's speed and descent during the landing. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.4 meters from the centerline, which is a minor deviation but still worth noting.
Overall, the landing was a success, with the pilot demonstrating good control and management of the aircraft during the approach, touchdown, and rollout. The score of 94.6% reflects the pilot's skill and experience, as well as their ability to adapt to the challenging weather conditions.
