Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,997 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 363 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving an impressive aircraft landing score of 98.4%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly commendable.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, indicating a high level of precision and skill in maintaining the correct descent path towards the runway. This is a crucial aspect of a successful landing, and your mastery of this phase is certainly praiseworthy.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, although the threshold height was slightly above target, your landing flare was very good. This shows your ability to adjust and correct minor deviations quickly and effectively, ensuring a smooth and controlled touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, while the touchdown rate was noted to be hard, your speed was on target and the touchdown distance fell within the designated touchdown zone. Additionally, the runway touchdown position, only 2.4 meters from the centerline, demonstrates your ability to consistently aim for precision in your landings.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was slightly off, with a deviation of 4.0 meters from the centerline. While there is room for improvement in this aspect, it does not diminish the overall excellence of your performance throughout the landing process.
Overall, your high landing score reflects your dedication to achieving excellence in every phase of the landing procedure. Your attention to detail, adaptability, and proficiency in executing key maneuvers are truly commendable. Keep up the great work, and continue to strive for perfection in your future landings. Your skill and expertise are evident, and I have no doubt that you will continue to excel in your aircraft operations. Well done!
