Improve the pattern base leg
Bank angle in the pattern is conventionally kept to 20 to 30 degrees, and the base-to-final turn is where that convention earns its keep. Stall speed rises with bank because the wing must produce more lift in a turn. Roughly 7 per cent higher at 30 degrees, about 19 per cent at 45, and around 40 per cent at 60. At 65 kt on base you don't have much margin to spend steepening a turn to salvage an overshoot.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
Side view — the last 618 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 618 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 162 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Firstly, congratulations on achieving a landing score of 96.6%! This is a fantastic result and it shows your skill and proficiency as a pilot. Your overall performance during the approach, landing, touchdown and rollout phases was very impressive, with mostly positive feedback.
In the Approach Phase, it is important to note that the descent path was below the glideslope limit and your speed was well below the target. While it's good to be cautious and avoid overspeeding, be mindful not to descend too rapidly and risk stalling the aircraft. Pay closer attention to maintaining the glideslope and speed parameters in future approaches.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you demonstrated excellent skills with a good threshold height and a perfect landing flare. However, there was room for improvement in the landing heading. It is crucial to ensure proper alignment with the runway during touchdown to enhance safety and efficiency.
During the Touchdown Phase, you managed to achieve a smooth touchdown rate with the speed on target. Additionally, landing within the touchdown zone and 3.2 m from the centerline is commendable. However, it is important to highlight that landing with a 3 kn tailwind can pose additional challenges and should be avoided whenever possible to ensure optimal landing performance.
In the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was slightly off, being 3.1 m from the centerline. Pay attention to maintaining proper alignment during rollout to enhance taxiing efficiency and overall runway safety.
Overall, your performance was exceptional, showcasing strong skills and confidence in various phases of the landing process. Keep up the good work and continue to focus on improving areas of weakness to further enhance your flying abilities. With dedication and practice, you can strive for even higher landing scores in the future. Great job!
