Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,194 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 39 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700, then departed from runway 20 at KHVN Tweed New Haven Airport. The takeoff distance was 708 meters, which accounted for 44% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 144 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 12 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 19 knots at 110 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 18 knots and a headwind of 6 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile south of KHVN Tweed New Haven Airport, and climbed from an altitude of 1,022 feet above sea level to 34,444 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,423 feet, in 15 minutes and covering 50 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, starting 2 miles south of Fort Montgomery, New York, and lasted for 14 minutes, covering 93 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its first descent, starting 1 mile west of Lyons, Pennsylvania, and descended from 34,556 feet above sea level to 10,032 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,524 feet, in 12 minutes and covering 82 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 2 miles northwest of Taneytown, Maryland, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering 24 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its second descent, starting 1 mile south of Jefferson, Maryland, and descended from 10,004 feet above sea level to 1,700 feet above sea level, a decrease of 8,304 feet, in 10 minutes and covering 22 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 2 miles north of Middleburg, Virginia, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering 8 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 12 at KIAD Washington Dulles International Airport was made from the west, heading 111.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,294 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 12 at KIAD Washington Dulles International Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 34 meters and a touchdown speed of 116 knots. However, the touchdown rate was very heavy at -777 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was significantly misaligned by 20.4 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 10 knots at 160 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 6 knots.
The total landing distance was 442 meters, which accounted for 14% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also misaligned by 17.5 meters from the centerline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 5 minutes and covered 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 286 nautical miles, taking 72 minutes, and the aircraft used 3,056 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft successfully landed at KIAD Washington Dulles International Airport, but with some notable deviations from ideal landing parameters. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the west, heading 111.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,294 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach score was 83.9%, indicating a good but not exceptional landing.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 12, which has a length of 3,194 meters. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 117 knots. The touchdown distance was within acceptable limits at 34 meters, and the touchdown speed of 116 knots was also good. However, the touchdown rate was very heavy at -777 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate a slightly aggressive descent.
The runway touchdown position was significantly misaligned by 20.4 meters from the centerline, which could be a concern for the aircraft's stability and control during the landing roll. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were moderate, with a temperature of 18°C and a wind speed of 10 knots at 160°. The crosswind component was 7 knots, while the headwind component was 6 knots.
The total landing distance was 442 meters, which is 14% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and stop within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was also misaligned by 17.5 meters from the centerline, which may indicate some issues with the aircraft's directional control during the landing roll.
Overall, while the landing was successful, there were some notable deviations from ideal landing parameters. The heavy touchdown rate and misaligned runway touchdown position and rollout alignment may indicate some areas for improvement in the aircraft's handling and control during landing.
