Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,547 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 436 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from KAMA Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport, the PC-24 VIP aircraft began its journey with a taxiing phase that lasted 12 minutes and covered 2 nautical miles. Upon reaching the runway, it initiated its departure roll on runway 22, utilizing 25% of the available runway length. The aircraft achieved liftoff at a speed of 126 knots, taking off from a temperature of 22°C with a wind of 11 knots at 189°. The crosswind component was 6 knots, while the headwind component was 9 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its initial cruising altitude, it began its enroute climb 1 mile southwest of KAMA, ascending from 4,646 feet above sea level to 29,695 feet, an increase of 25,049 feet in 18 minutes, covering 109 nautical miles. The aircraft then transitioned into level cruise, lasting 2 minutes and covering 12 nautical miles, before initiating another climb 4 miles northwest of Guthrie, Texas. This climb phase saw the aircraft ascend from 30,037 feet to 36,995 feet, an increase of 6,958 feet in 9 minutes, covering 63 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a prolonged level cruise phase, lasting 239 minutes and covering 1,819 nautical miles, before beginning its descent 87 miles northwest of Cartagena, Colombia. The descent phase saw the aircraft decrease from 36,881 feet to 1,020 feet, a decrease of 35,862 feet in 22 minutes, covering 111 nautical miles.
Upon reaching the final approach phase, the aircraft began its descent from the south, heading 1.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,004 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on runway 01 at SKCG Rafael Nuñez International Airport, utilizing 30% of the available runway length. The touchdown point was 63 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 93 knots and a touchdown rate of -152 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 758 meters, and the aircraft taxied to the parking area in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 2,123 nautical miles, taking 303 minutes, and the aircraft used 1,931 kilograms of fuel.
The final approach to runway 01 at SKCG Rafael Nuñez International Airport from the south was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 1.0° at 4 nm and 1,004 ft above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was slightly below the target at 105 kt. The aircraft touched down 63 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 93 kt, which was well within the acceptable range. The touchdown rate of -152 fpm was also good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft maintained perfect runway touchdown alignment, with the centreline alignment spot on. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 27 °C and a wind of 1 kt at 38°, contributed to a relatively calm and stable environment. The crosswind and headwind components were minimal, at 1 kt each, which further facilitated a smooth touchdown. The total landing distance of 758 m, which accounted for 30% of the runway length, was well within the acceptable range.
The rollout phase was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining very good runway rollout alignment. The overall performance of the landing was exceptional, with a score of 98.2% reflecting the high level of proficiency demonstrated by the crew.
