Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,964 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 5 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Münster-Telgte Airfield, the Bonanza G36 began its takeoff roll on runway 28, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 81 kt in a distance of 281 m, which accounted for 38% of the available runway. The aircraft lifted off with a slight headwind component, which contributed to a smooth and efficient departure.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airfield, it transitioned into an enroute climb, ascending from 500 ft to 763 ft in a mere 3 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nm. This climb phase was characterized by a steady rate of ascent, with the aircraft maintaining a consistent airspeed. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, flying at a steady altitude for 2 minutes while covering a distance of 5 nm. This brief period of steady-state flight allowed the pilot to assess the aircraft's performance and make any necessary adjustments.
The final approach to runway 25 at Münster Osnabrück Airport was executed from the east, with the aircraft aligning with the runway at 22 ft agl. The landing was characterized by a good threshold height, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 68 kt, which was slightly below the target threshold speed. The touchdown distance was a mere 3 m, and the touchdown rate was an excellent -59 fpm. The runway touchdown alignment was also very good, and the runway rollout alignment was similarly impressive, with the aircraft coming to a stop in a distance of 275 m, which accounted for 14% of the available runway. The total flight distance was 14 nm, and the aircraft used 5 kg of fuel, indicating a fuel-efficient flight.
The Bonanza G36 touched down on runway 25 at EDDG Münster Osnabrück Airport with a satisfactory approach quality, maintaining a steady heading of 252.0° from 0 nm and 22 ft above ground level. The aircraft's descent was well-controlled, allowing for a good threshold height. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 68 kt, indicating a minor deviation from the optimal landing configuration.
Upon touchdown, the Bonanza G36 demonstrated a good touchdown distance of 3 m, with a corresponding touchdown speed of 68 kt. The touchdown rate was particularly impressive, registering an excellent -59 fpm. The aircraft's alignment with the runway centerline was very good, indicating precise control during the final stages of the approach. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 16 °C and a gentle headwind of 3 kt, contributed to a smooth landing.
The Bonanza G36's rollout was characterized by excellent alignment with the runway centerline, showcasing the pilot's skill in maintaining control during the critical phase of the landing. The total landing distance of 275 m, representing 14% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. Overall, the landing performance earned a score of 92.3%, reflecting a high level of proficiency and control throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
