Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,622 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,622 m of the 4,265 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 385 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The Airbus A320 then departed from runway 30R at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (KMSP), with a takeoff distance of 1,341 meters, which accounted for 55% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 151 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 2 knots from a direction of 340 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started approximately 1 mile northwest of KMSP. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,876 feet above sea level to 33,861 feet above sea level, an increase of 31,985 feet, in just 10 minutes and covering a distance of 88 nautical miles. The enroute climb phase was followed by a level cruise, which began 6 miles southwest of Brooten, Minnesota, and lasted for 37 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 736 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, which started 4 miles north of Vauxhall, Alberta, Canada. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 33,868 feet above sea level to 4,850 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,019 feet, in 13 minutes and covering a distance of 95 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 17L at Calgary International Airport (CYYC) was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 180.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,284 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 17L was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 133 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown distance was 384 meters, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 2 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 150 degrees. The crosswind component was 2 knots, and the headwind component was 3 knots.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 927 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 69 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 6,253 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 17L at Calgary International Airport (CYYC) with a score of 98.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 180.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,284 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 137 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown distance of 384 meters was also satisfactory, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft during the landing phase. However, the touchdown speed of 133 knots was slightly higher than the recommended speed, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate of -332 feet per minute (fpm).
Despite the slightly fast touchdown speed, the pilot managed to maintain perfect runway touchdown alignment, which is essential for a safe landing. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 2°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from 150°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 3 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the landing phase.
The total landing distance of 1,543 meters was 36% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft during the landing phase. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, which is a testament to the pilot's skill and experience. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's performance was commendable, with a score of 98.8%.
