Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,465 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,465 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 414 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 11 at SBIL Bahia - Jorge Amado Airport. The Airbus A320 took off with a takeoff distance of 387 meters, which accounted for 26% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 152 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 180 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 0 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb overhead SBIL Bahia - Jorge Amado Airport Ilhéus, located in Bahia, Brazil. The climb began at an altitude of 1,072 feet above sea level and increased to 1,573 feet above sea level, a rise of 501 feet, in just 1 minute. During this time, the aircraft covered a distance of 2 nautical miles.
Later, the enroute descent started overhead Ilheus, and the aircraft descended from 1,570 feet above sea level to 354 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,217 feet, in 2 minutes. The descent covered a distance of 2 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 11 at SBIL Bahia - Jorge Amado Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 89.0 degrees at a distance of 1 nautical mile and an altitude of 334 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 11 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 414 meters, which was considered good. However, the touchdown speed of 114 knots was slightly above the target speed. The touchdown rate was good at -200 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions remained the same, with a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 180 degrees.
The total landing distance was 867 meters, which accounted for 59% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The total flight distance was 7 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 4 minutes. The aircraft used 123 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at SBIL Bahia - Jorge Amado Airport, achieving a high score of 99.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 89.0° at 1 nautical mile and 334 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft landed smoothly on runway 11, which has a length of 1,465 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 122 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 114 knots was a bit faster than desired, indicating that the pilots may have needed to apply more braking during the rollout. The touchdown rate of -200 feet per minute (fpm) was within the acceptable range, demonstrating good control and stability during the landing.
The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 25°C and a gentle wind of 5 knots from 180°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind component and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance of 867 meters was 59% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilots had excellent control and precision during the final approach. The runway rollout alignment was also flawless, demonstrating the pilots' ability to maintain control and stability during the critical phase of the landing. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, resulting in a high score of 99.8%.
