MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,997 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 490 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Ngurah Rai (Bali) International Airport, taking 16 minutes and covering a distance of 3 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 27, with a takeoff distance of 400 meters, which accounted for 13% of the runway's length. The liftoff speed was 87 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 30 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot at 360 degrees. The crosswind was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind was zero. The enroute climb began overhead the airport, with the aircraft ascending from 854 feet above sea level to 9,103 feet above sea level, a total increase of 8,249 feet in just 10 minutes. This climb covered a distance of 12 nautical miles.
After reaching the desired altitude, the enroute descent started 6 miles east of Denpasar, with the aircraft descending from 9,103 feet above sea level to 1,293 feet above sea level, a decrease of 7,811 feet in just 5 minutes. This descent covered a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 27 at Ngurah Rai (Bali) International Airport was made from the east, with the aircraft heading 268.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,272 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing took place on runway 27, which had a length of 2,997 meters. The threshold height was well above the target, while the threshold speed was excessively high at 94 knots.
The touchdown point was 57 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 79 knots, which was faster than desired. However, the touchdown rate was excellent at -63 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.6 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions during landing were 30 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 250 degrees, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 3 knots.
The total landing distance was 662 meters, which accounted for 22% of the runway's length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking just 1 minute and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 29 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 25 minutes and a fuel consumption of 70 kilograms.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed on runway 27 at WADD Ngurah Rai (Bali) International Airport, but with some notable deviations from the ideal landing parameters. The final approach was initiated from the east, heading 268.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,272 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 57 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a slight deviation from the ideal position. The touchdown speed of 79 knots was also higher than the target speed, indicating that the pilot may have applied the brakes too late or not aggressively enough. However, the touchdown rate of -63 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The threshold height at 72 feet agl was well above the target, suggesting that the pilot may have descended too quickly or not maintained a stable approach path. Additionally, the threshold speed of 94 knots was excessively high, indicating that the pilot may have been too aggressive in their approach.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.6 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment or a slight crosswind component. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 30°C and a gentle headwind of 3 knots.
The total landing distance of 662 meters was 22% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, while the landing was successful, there were some notable deviations from the ideal parameters that the pilot should work on to improve their performance.
