Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,710 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 512 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320 taxied from the parking area to runway 07L at Brussels Airport, covering 1 nm in 6 minutes.
During the departure roll on runway 07L, the aircraft accelerated through 1,648 m, representing 49 % of the runway, and lifted off at 154 kt. Ambient conditions were 15 °C with a wind of 8 kt from 040°, a 3 kt cross-wind component and a 7 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced overhead Steenokkerzeel, rising from 1,129 ft asl to 18,781 ft asl - an increase of 17,652 ft - over 9 minutes while covering 55 nm.
Cruise began 2 miles north-west of Goegnies-Chaussee and continued for 11 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 81 nm at level flight.
Descent was initiated 1 mile east of Mortefontaine, descending from 19,000 ft asl to 1,632 ft asl - a loss of 17,368 ft - in 13 minutes and covering 67 nm.
The final approach to runway 09L at Charles de Gaulle Airport was flown from the west on a heading of 85.0°, intercepting the approach at 4 nm and 1,276 ft agl.
Landing on runway 09L, whose length is 2,700 m, occurred with a threshold height of 62 ft agl that was above target and a threshold speed of 134 kt. Touchdown was recorded 190 m beyond the touchdown zone at 129 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 248 fpm; runway touchdown alignment was perfect. Local weather at the time was 14 °C with a wind of 8 kt from 040°, a 6 kt cross-wind and a 6 kt head-wind.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 1,238 m, representing 46 % of the runway, and runway rollout alignment was perfect.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, covering 2 nm in 10 minutes.
In total, the flight covered 212 nm, lasted 52 minutes, and consumed 1,845 kg of fuel.
Airbus A320 approached runway 09L at LFPG from the west on a final approach heading 85.0° at 4 nm and 1,276 ft agl. Local weather was 14 °C with wind 8 kt from 40°, providing a 6 kt headwind and a 6 kt crosswind component.
Threshold height at 62 ft agl was above target, while the threshold speed was good at 134 kt.
Touchdown occurred 190 m beyond the touchdown zone with a good speed of 129 kt; the descent rate was fair at minus 248 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
Total landing distance measured 1,238 m, representing 46 % of the 2,700 m runway, and rollout alignment remained perfect.
Minor refinements should focus on reducing the excess threshold height and moderating the descent rate to achieve a smoother flare. Maintaining a stabilised approach that targets the aim point approximately 300 m (1,000 ft) in will help keep touchdown location and vertical profile within optimal limits.
