Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,199 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 338 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took approximately 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna 208B, then departed from runway 28 at Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM) in Saint Martin. The takeoff distance was 535 meters, which accounted for 23% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 80 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 13 knots at a direction of 60 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a tailwind of 13 knots. The aircraft began its enroute climb 2 miles west of the airport, rising from an altitude of 940 feet above sea level to 4,876 feet above sea level, an increase of 3,936 feet in 6 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 8 miles south of the airport and lasted for 13 minutes, covering a distance of 32 nautical miles. The enroute descent began 2 miles west of Dieppe Bay Town in Saint Kitts and Nevis, where the aircraft descended from 4,773 feet above sea level to 1,564 feet above sea level, a decrease of 3,209 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (TKPK) was made from the southwest, heading 56.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,398 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 07 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 336 meters, which was 26% of the runway length. The touchdown speed was 58 knots, and the touchdown rate was -151 feet per minute, both of which were considered good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 23 knots at a direction of 40 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 22 knots. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.4 meters from the centerline. The runway rollout alignment was very good, and the total landing distance was 577 meters.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took approximately 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 57 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 30 minutes. The aircraft used 92 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna 208B aircraft successfully landed at TKPK Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, achieving a score of 94.5%. The final approach to runway 07 was initiated from the southwest, with a heading of 56.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,398 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 68 knots, which was slightly above the target threshold speed. However, the touchdown distance of 336 meters was considered good, and the touchdown speed of 58 knots was also within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate of -151 feet per minute was also satisfactory, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
Despite the good overall performance, there was a slight misalignment of the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft deviating 9.4 meters from the centerline. This may be attributed to factors such as wind or pilot error, but it did not appear to have a significant impact on the overall landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 28°C and a wind speed of 23 knots from a direction of 40°. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 22 knots, which may have contributed to the slight misalignment of the touchdown position.
The total landing distance of 577 meters was 26% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the aircraft was well under control during the landing and rollout phases.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and handling characteristics. However, the slight misalignment of the touchdown position and the slightly above-target threshold speed may be areas for improvement in future landings.
