Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,119 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 475 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 08R at London Gatwick Airport (EGKK). The takeoff distance was 1,450 meters, which accounted for 58% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 164 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 4 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 80 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a headwind of 4 knots. The enroute climb began approximately 1 mile south of Horley in Surrey, England, and the aircraft ascended from 1,229 feet above sea level to 33,970 feet above sea level, a total increase of 32,741 feet, in 17 minutes and covering a distance of 90 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Cerne Abbas in Dorset, England, and lasted for 16 minutes, covering a distance of 117 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent approximately 31 miles southwest of Hundleton in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The descent from 33,615 feet above sea level to 1,682 feet above sea level, a total decrease of 31,933 feet, took 26 minutes and covered a distance of 118 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 16 at Cork Airport (EICK) was made from the north, heading 160.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,195 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 16 was successful, with a total landing distance of 1,377 meters, which accounted for 65% of the runway. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 152 knots. The touchdown point was 59 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 145 knots. The touchdown rate was firm at -335 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.1 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 9 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 12 knots at 169 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 12 knots. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 335 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 75 minutes. The aircraft used 2,824 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at Cork Airport, achieving a score of 96.7%. The final approach to runway 16 was initiated from the north, with the aircraft heading 160.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,195 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway, with the threshold height being satisfactory. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 152 knots. The touchdown point was located 59 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the intended landing spot. The touchdown speed of 145 knots was also a bit faster than desired, resulting in a firm touchdown rate of -335 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.1 meters, which may have been due to the aircraft's heading or the wind conditions. The local weather at the time of landing was characterized by a temperature of 9°C, with a wind speed of 12 knots blowing from 169°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 12 knots, which may have contributed to the slight misalignment.
The total landing distance of 1,377 meters was 65% of the available runway length of 2,119 meters. Despite the slight deviations, the runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft's brakes were applied effectively to bring the plane to a stop. Overall, the landing was successful, with the aircraft coming to a stop within a reasonable distance from the runway threshold.
