Departure
Make small rudder corrections against a point at the far end to hold the centreline.
What happened: During the ground roll you drifted 8.6 m off the runway centreline.
Watch for: Watch runway alignment against the centreline, correcting with small rudder inputs.

Arrival
Add power on short final to hold speed at 61 kt, correcting the slow threshold speed before it carries through to the flare.
What happened: Threshold speed was slow at 55 kt against 61 kt, and touchdown followed short of the aim point at 19 m. Crossing the threshold slow like this usually carries the touchdown short.
Watch for: Airspeed indicator against 61 kt on short final.
Every knot above Vref is stored kinetic energy, and energy stored at the threshold must be dissipated in ground effect before the aeroplane will stop flying. Because kinetic energy scales with the square of speed, the excess you must dissipate grows fast. At a 45-knot approach, five knots hot is over a tenth more speed and roughly a quarter more energy to get rid of in ground effect. This is why the fix is never in the flare. It was decided three miles earlier, on final, at the airspeed indicator.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply. These checks are the approach's score.
At the 500 ft gate: centreline 4.3° off, against a 1° limit.

Touched down 19 m short of the threshold. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Cessna Skyhawk taxied from the parking area to runway 24 at EDLH Hamm-Lippewiesen Airfield in 4 minutes, covering 2 nm.
Takeoff was performed on runway 24, using 338 m of runway (54 % of the available length). Rotation occurred at 69 kt. Local weather at departure was temperature 10 °C, wind 5 kt from 182°, with a 4 kt crosswind and a 3 kt headwind.
The initial climb to 400 ft agl lasted 40 seconds, averaging 892 fpm and reaching 66 kt at the top of the climb.
A right-hand circuit was flown. The downwind leg was 3 nm long and was completed in 105 seconds at 1,010 ft agl. The base leg was less than 1 nm and took 55 seconds.
During final approach to runway 24, descent from 555 ft agl to 97 ft agl was made in 93 seconds. At 500 ft above the runway the stabilisation checks were met for gear down, landing flap, sink rate, glideslope, speed, and wings level; the centreline check was not met.
The aircraft touched down on runway 24, 19 m short of the threshold, and the threshold was never crossed in the air. Threshold speed was slightly below target at 55 kt. Flare was described as excellent; the aircraft crossed the threshold high. Touchdown speed was 42 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 155 fpm and very good runway-touchdown alignment. No bounce occurred.
Total landing distance was 565 m, representing 90 % of the runway length. Runway rollout alignment was slightly off centreline by 9.0 m. Local weather at landing was temperature 10 °C, wind 5 kt from 184°, with a 4 kt crosswind and a 3 kt headwind.
The flight covered 12 nm in 8 minutes and consumed 3 kg of fuel.
