MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Arrival
Begin the flare with progressive back pressure and keep it coming until the sink is arrested, rather than flying it on flat.
What happened: The nose was barely raised in the flare and little of the sink was taken out, flying the aircraft onto the runway. This pattern usually carries through to a firm touchdown with a noticeable sink rate.
Watch for: Vertical speed indicator: a smoothly reducing sink through the normal flare band, not a steady rate into the runway.
There are several things that can go wrong during the flare, carrying too much speed over the threshold, starting the flare at the wrong height and inconsistent flight control inputs, all contribute to a poor flare resulting in a hard touchdown or a float down the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,989 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 466 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Paris-Orly Airport, the Airbus A320 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 7 minutes and covered a distance of approximately 1 nautical mile. As the aircraft lined up on runway 07, it was cleared for departure, and with a takeoff distance of 1,788 meters, which equated to 62% of the runway, the aircraft lifted off at a liftoff speed of 159 knots. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 34 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 17 knots from a direction of 50 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 15 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute cruise altitude, it began its ascent from 1,244 feet above sea level, eventually reaching a height of 28,950 feet, an increase of 27,706 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 86 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise phase followed, where the aircraft maintained a steady altitude for 52 minutes, covering a distance of 391 nautical miles. The descent phase commenced 31 miles southeast of Premia de Mar, Spain, where the aircraft descended from 29,004 feet to 1,405 feet above sea level, a decrease of 27,599 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 98 nautical miles.
Upon approaching Palma de Mallorca Airport, the aircraft began its final approach to runway 24L, aligning itself with the runway from the northeast. The landing was executed with a threshold speed of 140 knots, and the touchdown point was 53 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 133 knots and a touchdown rate of -220 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.9 meters from the centerline. The total landing distance was 1,443 meters, which equated to 56% of the runway. Following a smooth rollout alignment, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 582 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 94 minutes and a fuel consumption of 3,845 kilograms.
The final approach to runway 24L at LEPA Palma de Mallorca Airport was executed from the north east, heading 239.0° at 4 nm and 1,381 ft above ground level. The approach quality was good, with a satisfactory threshold height and a threshold speed of 140 kt, which was within the acceptable range. The aircraft maintained a steady descent, touching down 53 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 133 kt, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate of -220 fpm was fair, indicating a moderate deceleration.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.9 m from the centreline, which may have been due to the 3 kt crosswind component. However, the local weather conditions, with a temperature of 27 °C and a 9 kt headwind, were generally favorable for the landing. The total landing distance of 1,443 m was 56% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range for a runway of 2,587 m.
The rollout phase was notable for its excellent alignment, with the aircraft maintaining a straight course down the runway. Overall, the landing was scored 98.2%, reflecting a high level of proficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures. While there were some minor deviations from ideal performance, the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the execution of the landing.
