Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 300 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
At the 300 ft gate: wings not level.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,584 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 164 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 30 at EPNT Nowy Targ Airfield, a Cessna 152 aircraft taking to the skies. The takeoff distance was 277 meters, which accounted for 17% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 55 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a gentle wind of 1 knot at 269 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed out of Nowy Targ, it began its enroute climb, ascending from an altitude of 2,337 feet above sea level to 5,137 feet. This increase of 2,801 feet was achieved in just 6 minutes, covering a distance of 5 nautical miles. The climb was a smooth and efficient one, setting the stage for the rest of the flight.
The enroute level cruise phase began 2 miles southwest of Lesnica, a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland. This phase of the flight lasted for 10 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 14 nautical miles. The cruise was a stable and efficient one, allowing the aircraft to conserve fuel and maintain a steady pace.
As the flight continued, the aircraft began its enroute descent, starting 3 miles southeast of Zdiar in Presov, Slovakia. The descent was a gentle one, with the aircraft losing 555 feet in altitude over a period of 2 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. This descent phase was followed by another level cruise phase, this time starting 3 miles northeast of Tatranska Lomnica, a town in Presov, Slovakia. This phase lasted for 9 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The final level cruise phase began 1 mile southeast of Nova Lesna, another town in Presov, Slovakia. This phase was brief, lasting only 1 minute, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 1 nautical mile.
The final approach to runway 27 at LZTT Poprad-Tatry Airport was a smooth one, with the aircraft approaching from the east at a heading of 275.0 degrees. The aircraft was at an altitude of 81 feet above ground level and was 0 nautical miles from the runway threshold.
The landing itself was a good one, with the aircraft touching down on the runway at a distance of 161 meters. The touchdown speed was 36 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was perfect at -47 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was also very good, indicating a smooth and controlled landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were similar to those at the time of takeoff, with a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a gentle wind of 1 knot at 270 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, and the headwind was 1 knot.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 31 nautical miles, taking 28 minutes to complete. The aircraft used no fuel during the flight, indicating a high level of efficiency and a well-planned route.
The Cessna 152 aircraft successfully landed at LZTT Poprad-Tatry Airport, achieving a perfect score of 100.0%. The final approach to runway 27 was initiated from the east, with a heading of 275.0° at an altitude of 81 feet above ground level (agl) and a distance of 0 nautical miles from the runway.
The aircraft's approach and landing were executed flawlessly, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was slightly below the target of 48 knots. This indicates that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's speed effectively throughout the approach.
The touchdown distance of 161 meters was also within acceptable limits, demonstrating the pilot's ability to navigate the aircraft to a safe and controlled landing. The touchdown speed of 36 knots was good, and the touchdown rate of -47 feet per minute (fpm) was perfect, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, suggesting that the pilot maintained a stable and consistent approach path. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind component was negligible, and the headwind component was minimal at 1 knot.
Overall, the Cessna 152 aircraft's landing at LZTT Poprad-Tatry Airport was a textbook example of a well-executed approach and landing, with the pilot demonstrating exceptional skill and control throughout the maneuver.
