Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 12,791 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 150 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with taxiing from the parking bay to the runway at General Mitchell International Airport, located at KMKE. This process, which took less than one minute, covered a distance of less than one nautical mile. The departure roll commenced on runway 07R, and the takeoff distance required was 3,692 feet, which accounted for 47% of the runway length. Upon takeoff, the aircraft lifted off at a speed of 150 knots.
As the flight progressed to its cruising altitude, it first encountered an enroute climb that started overhead Cudahy in Wisconsin. During this climb, the aircraft ascended from an initial altitude of 1,746 feet above sea level to 24,717 feet above sea level, a gain of 22,971 feet over a distance of 41 nautical miles within 9 minutes. Following this climb, the aircraft transitioned into an enroute level cruise that lasted for 38 minutes and covered a distance of 311 nautical miles. This segment of the flight took place approximately 1 mile northeast of Kirkpatrick Airport in Harvard, Wisconsin.
Another enroute climb segment started approximately 3 miles west of Martins Airport in Lawson, Missouri. During this descent, the aircraft dropped from an altitude of 24,880 feet above sea level to 3,326 feet above sea level, a decrease of 21,554 feet, within a 12-minute timeframe and covering approximately 70 nautical miles. This descent culminated with an enroute level cruise that lasted merely 3 minutes and covered 7 nautical miles, situated 1 mile south of Cloud Airport in Overbrook, Kansas.
As the flight neared its destination at Topeka Regional Airport, it began its final approach from the southeast direction. The heading during the final approach was 317.0 degrees, occurring approximately 4 nautical miles from the threshold at 1,101 feet above ground level.
Upon reaching the runway threshold, the aircraft landed on runway 31 at Topeka Regional Airport, which had a length of 12,791 feet. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 59 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 2 knots from the northwest with no crosswind.
The landing was characterized by a threshold speed slightly below the target at 112 knots. The touchdown distance of 137 feet was satisfactory. Although the touchdown speed of 111 knots was slightly above the optimal range, the touchdown rate was firm at -381 feet per minute. Notably, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 23 feet. Furthermore, the total landing distance was 2,107 feet, representing 16% of the runway length.
Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took less than one minute and covered a distance of less than one nautical mile. Throughout the flight, a total distance of 438 nautical miles was covered, taking a total flight time of 68 minutes and utilizing zero pounds of fuel.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed on runway 31 at KFOE Topeka Regional Airport with a performance score of 94.4%, demonstrating impressive piloting skills. The aircraft approached the runway from the south east, heading 317.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,101 feet above ground level, showcasing a precise and controlled approach.
The landing itself was carried out with great success, with the aircraft touching down on the runway with a firm rate of -381 feet per minute. The touchdown distance of 137 feet was good, but the aircraft's touchdown speed of 111 knots was a little higher than the target, indicating that the pilot may have had a brief moment of hesitation as they began to lower the nose of the aircraft onto the runway. Despite this, the aircraft rolled out of the touchdown zone without issue, covering a total distance of 2,107 feet, which is just 16% of the runway's 12,791-foot length.
The wind conditions at the time of the landing were near-perfect, with a gentle breeze of 2 knots blowing in from the northwest and a minor crosswind component of 1 knot. The temperature was a comfortable 59 degrees Fahrenheit, further contributing to a smooth and uneventful landing.
However, the landing was not entirely without issue, as the aircraft landed slightly off-centerline, touching down some 23 feet to the left of the runway's center and continuing to roll out slightly misaligned by 37 feet past the end of the touchdown zone. Despite these minor deviations, the pilot's skills and attention to detail were evident throughout the landing, resulting in a successful touchdown and a high score of 94.4%.
