Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,556 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,556 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 191 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at LFLG Aérodrome de Grenoble Le Versoud, a process that took approximately 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 04, with a takeoff distance of 1,851 feet, which accounted for 69% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 89 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 59°F and winds of 5 knots at 236 degrees. The crosswind was minimal at 1 knot, while the tailwind was 5 knots. The enroute climb began overhead Villard-Bonnot in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, where the aircraft ascended from 1,727 feet above sea level to 14,802 feet, an increase of 13,075 feet in just 8 minutes, covering a distance of 54 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Scionzier in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, and lasted for 4 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 46 nautical miles. The enroute descent began 2 miles east of La Roche in Canton de Fribourg, Switzerland, where the aircraft descended from 14,799 feet to 1,778 feet, a decrease of 13,021 feet in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 37 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 23 at LSPL Langenthal Airfield was made from the northeast, with a heading of 233.0 degrees at 1 nautical mile and 197 feet above ground level. The landing on the runway, which had a length of 1,556 feet, was successful, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 75 knots, which was well below the target to avoid stalling.
The touchdown distance was good at 185 feet, with a touchdown speed of 71 knots and a smooth touchdown rate of -118 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 11 feet from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 38°F and winds of 5 knots at 226 degrees, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance was 949 feet, accounting for 61% of the runway, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. The total flight distance was 139 nautical miles, taking 27 minutes, and the aircraft used 350 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet successfully landed at LSPL Langenthal Airfield, achieving a score of 96.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 233.0° at 1 nautical mile and 197 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is crucial for a safe landing.
Upon reaching the threshold speed of 75 knots, the pilot was advised to be cautious not to stall, as the speed was well below the target. However, the pilot successfully managed the aircraft, and the touchdown distance was good at 185 feet. The touchdown speed of 71 knots was also within the acceptable range, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The touchdown rate of -118 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, which is a testament to the pilot's skill and experience. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 11 feet from the centreline, which may require some adjustments during the rollout phase.
The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 38°F and a wind speed of 5 knots at 226°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind component was 5 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the approach and landing.
The total landing distance of 949 feet was 61% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase and successfully brought it to a stop.
Overall, the Vision Jet's landing at LSPL Langenthal Airfield was a success, with the pilot demonstrating excellent skills and control throughout the approach and landing phases.
