Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,131 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 319 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving an exceptional aircraft landing score of 99.3%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly impressive.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was spot on, demonstrating excellent precision and control. Although your speed was slightly below target, this minor deviation did not impact the overall quality of your approach.
In the Landing Phase, your execution was flawless. Your threshold height was well-managed, leading to a smooth and controlled descent. The perfect landing flare further showcased your skill and mastery of the landing process.
Moving on to the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was commendable, indicating a gentle and controlled touchdown. Your speed was kept on target, contributing to a safe and stable landing. Additionally, landing within the touchdown zone and positioning the aircraft just 3.3 meters from the centerline of the runway reflects your exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, maintaining a runway alignment just 3.1 meters from the centerline demonstrates your ability to navigate and control the aircraft during the critical moments after touchdown.
