Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,750 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,750 m of the 3,670 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 412 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, an Airbus A320, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Portland International Airport (KPDX). This process took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 28R, and the takeoff distance was 1,531 meters, which accounted for 63% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 154 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 10°C and a wind speed of 3 knots at 299 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a headwind of 3 knots. The enroute climb started over KPDX and took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,043 feet above sea level to 36,582 feet, an increase of 35,538 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 104 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 6 miles east of the Big Muddy Ranch Airport (2OR1) in Fossil, Oregon, and lasted for 27 minutes, covering a distance of 624 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent 15 miles southwest of Encampment, Wyoming, and descended from 37,056 feet to 6,623 feet in 19 minutes, covering a distance of 132 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 34R at Denver International Airport (KDEN) was made from the south, with a heading of 1.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,260 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing took place on a runway with a length of 3,670 meters, and the threshold height was good. The threshold speed was also good at 137 knots, and the touchdown distance was 414 meters, which was 46% of the runway length.
The touchdown speed was 132 knots, and the touchdown rate was firm at -313 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.2 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 7°C and a wind speed of 8 knots at 30 degrees, with a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 7 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,671 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. The aircraft then taxiied to the parking area from the runway, taking 5 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The total flight distance was 870 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 71 minutes. The aircraft used 4,914 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 34R at KDEN Denver International Airport, achieving a high score of 97.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 1.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,260 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 137 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown distance of 414 meters was also satisfactory, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent. The touchdown speed of 132 knots was also within the acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -313 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, suggesting a controlled and stable landing.
However, there was a slight deviation in the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 3.2 meters off-centerline. This minor misalignment may have been due to the crosswind component of 4 knots, which was present during the landing. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 7°C and a wind speed of 8 knots at 30°, may have also contributed to the slight deviation.
Despite the minor deviation, the total landing distance of 1,671 meters was within the acceptable range, accounting for only 46% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft's roll-out and had successfully brought the aircraft to a stop within a safe distance.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the high score achieved. However, the slight deviation in the runway touchdown position and the minor misalignment may be areas for improvement in future landings.
