Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,494 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 558 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 98.1%! Let's break down your performance in each phase of the landing for further analysis and improvement.
Starting with the Approach Phase, it is noted that the descent path was slightly above the glideslope limit. To improve this, try to ensure a more precise descent path to align with the glideslope, which will result in a smoother and more accurate approach.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is pointed out that the threshold height was slightly above target. However, it is commendable that the landing flare was very good. Focus on adjusting your approach to hit the threshold height spot on, while maintaining the excellent landing flare technique you demonstrated.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was excellent and your speed was on target, which is fantastic. The only area for improvement is the touchdown point, as it was 119 m beyond the touchdown zone. Strive to touch down within the designated touchdown zone for better precision and safety.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was 3.9 m from the centerline. Pay attention to your alignment during the rollout phase to ensure you maintain a straight path along the centerline for a smooth and accurate landing.
Overall, despite some minor areas for improvement, your landing score of 98.1% is impressive. Keep up the good work and continue to fine-tune your skills in each phase of the landing process. With dedication and practice, you can further enhance your performance and achieve even higher scores in the future. Well done!
