Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,441 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 399 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a remarkable landing score of 99.2%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly outstanding.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, and although your speed was slightly below target, it did not compromise the overall quality of the approach. This shows your skill in maintaining proper glide slope while also managing speed control.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, your execution was nearly flawless. You had a good threshold height and a perfect landing flare, showcasing your ability to handle the aircraft with precision and finesse during the critical moments before touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, every aspect of your landing was top-notch. Your touchdown rate was excellent, and you managed to hit the target speed precisely. Additionally, you landed within the touchdown zone with great accuracy, highlighting your proficiency in handling the aircraft during the crucial moments of touchdown.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, while your runway alignment was slightly off at 4.8 meters from the centerline, this is a minor detail compared to the overall excellence demonstrated in the rest of the landing process.
Overall, your exceptional performance throughout each phase of the landing process is truly commendable. Keep up the fantastic work, and continue striving for excellence in your future flights. Your dedication and skill are truly impressive. Well done!
