Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The 1,549 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a fantastic aircraft landing score of 99.6%! Your performance throughout each phase of the landing process was truly exceptional.
Let's break it down starting with the Approach Phase. Your glideslope alignment was excellent, which indicates precise control and a smooth descent towards the runway. This sets a solid foundation for a successful landing.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you demonstrated good judgment in maintaining the correct threshold height, ensuring a safe and controlled approach to the runway. Your landing flare was executed perfectly, allowing for a smooth touchdown with minimal impact. This shows your proficiency in handling the aircraft during critical phases of landing.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was smooth and your speed was right on target. This demonstrates your ability to manage both vertical and horizontal speed effectively, resulting in a precise touchdown within the desired touchdown zone. Additionally, your runway touchdown position was very good, indicating precise alignment with the runway centerline.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, showcasing your ability to maintain control and directionality as the aircraft decelerates after touchdown. This is crucial for a safe and efficient rollout on the runway.
Overall, your outstanding performance in all phases of the landing process is a testament to your skill and proficiency as a pilot. Keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence in your future flights. Well done!
