Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 8,497 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,687 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700, then departed from runway 01R at KLAS Harry Reid International Airport. The takeoff distance was 5,151 feet, which accounted for 61% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 145 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 84 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 2 knots at 100 degrees. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the headwind was 0 knots. The enroute climb began overhead Paradise, Nevada, where the aircraft ascended from 3,156 feet above sea level to 38,233 feet above sea level, an increase of 35,076 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 111 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 6 miles east of KGOL Goldfield Airport in Goldfield, Nevada. This phase lasted for 76 minutes and covered a distance of 565 nautical miles. The enroute descent began 1 mile southwest of Meadow Glade, Washington, where the aircraft descended from 38,065 feet above sea level to 1,706 feet above sea level, a decrease of 36,358 feet in 23 minutes, covering a distance of 108 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 16R at KSEA Seattle–Tacoma International Airport was made from the north, heading 180.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,281 feet above ground level. The landing was executed on runway 16R, which had a length of 8,497 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 130 knots. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 126 knots, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -126 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 66 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 2 knots at 270 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, while the headwind was 0 knots. The total landing distance was 4,539 feet, which accounted for 53% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 793 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 135 minutes. The aircraft used 9,940 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft successfully landed at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (KSEA) on runway 16R. The final approach was executed from the north, heading 180.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,281 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft maintained a good threshold height, indicating a stable and controlled descent.
Upon touchdown, the threshold speed was recorded at 130 knots, which is within the acceptable range for a safe landing. However, the touchdown speed of 126 knots was slightly faster than desired, suggesting that the pilot may have been able to maintain a more optimal speed during the final approach. The touchdown rate of -126 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating a controlled and gentle touchdown.
The touchdown point was located 319 feet beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 66°F and a light wind of 2 knots from 270°.
The total landing distance of 4,539 feet was 53% of the available runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase and was able to bring the aircraft to a stop in a safe and controlled manner. Overall, the landing was executed safely and efficiently, with a score of 98.9%.
