Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,410 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 197 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-900, then departed from runway 17 at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (KMSP). The takeoff distance was 1,565 meters, which accounted for 64% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 161 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and winds of 6 knots at 220 degrees. The crosswind was 5 knots, and the headwind was 4 knots. After departing from KMSP, the aircraft began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile south of the airport and climbing from an altitude of 1,934 feet above sea level to 32,810 feet above sea level. This climb covered a distance of 150 nautical miles and took 13 minutes, resulting in an increase of 30,876 feet in altitude.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 4 miles southwest of Richland Center in Wisconsin. This phase lasted for 8 minutes and covered a distance of 165 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 1 mile west of the 55IL Brandt Airport in Manteno, Illinois. The descent took 15 minutes and covered a distance of 117 nautical miles, resulting in a decrease of 30,894 feet in altitude from 32,941 feet above sea level to 2,047 feet above sea level.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its final approach to runway 23R at the Indianapolis International Airport (KIND). The approach was made from the northeast, heading 225.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,300 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The aircraft landed on runway 23R, which had a length of 3,410 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 145 knots.
The touchdown distance was 198 meters, which was within the acceptable range. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 143 knots. The touchdown rate was firm at -334 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 3.1 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and winds of 7 knots at 174 degrees, with a crosswind of 6 knots and a headwind of 5 knots.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, which took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 441 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 49 minutes. The aircraft used 3,473 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-900 aircraft successfully landed at KIND Indianapolis International Airport, with a final approach score of 98.5%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north east, heading 225.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,300 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft then landed on runway 23R, which has a length of 3,410 meters.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. The threshold speed of 145 knots was also within the acceptable range, suggesting that the pilot had a good control of the aircraft's speed during the final approach. The touchdown distance of 198 meters was also good, indicating that the pilot had a good control of the aircraft's descent rate.
However, the touchdown speed of 143 knots was slightly faster than the recommended speed, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate. The touchdown rate of -334 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, indicating that the aircraft touched down with a significant amount of force. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.1 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's control of the aircraft during the final approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were a temperature of 11°C and a wind speed of 7 knots from 174°. The crosswind component was 6 knots, while the headwind component was 5 knots. The total landing distance of 1,174 meters was 34% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had a good control of the aircraft's roll rate during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, with the aircraft touching down safely on the runway. However, there were some minor deviations in the pilot's control of the aircraft during the final approach, which resulted in a slightly faster touchdown speed and a firmer touchdown rate.
