Keep the taxi smooth
Turn speed is limited by lateral load on the tyres and the people in the back, and lateral acceleration goes with the square of speed. On an illustrative 25 m turn radius, 10 kt produces about 0.11 g of side load, while 20 kt produces about 0.43 g. Doubling the speed quadruples the load. That square law is the entire content of the "10 knots in turns" rule, and it tells you why a slightly-too-fast turn feels fine and a moderately-too-fast one throws the cabin crew across the galley.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,549 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,549 ft of the 7,481 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,205 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.

The initial climb began 2 mi northwest of KSLC, climbing from 5,175 ft asl to 35,004 ft asl, an altitude gain of 29,830 ft achieved in 30 minutes while covering 212 nm.
Level cruise commenced 12 mi northeast of Wamsutter, Wyoming, and persisted for 95 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 766 nm.
Descent started 3 mi west of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, descending from 35,001 ft asl to 11,018 ft asl, a loss of 23,983 ft in 13 minutes over a distance of 87 nm.
A second cruise segment began 1 mi west of 8LL1 Hunter Airport, Woodstock, Illinois, lasting 7 minutes and covering 36 nm.
The next descent was initiated 2 mi south of Northbrook, Illinois, dropping from 11,012 ft asl to 3,877 ft asl, a reduction of 7,135 ft in 9 minutes across 39 nm.
A brief climb followed 15 mi east of Uptown, Illinois, raising the aircraft from 4,084 ft asl to 4,567 ft asl, an increase of 483 ft in 2 minutes while traveling 6 nm.
Subsequent descent began 9 mi east of Uptown, Illinois, descending from 4,469 ft asl to 1,749 ft asl, a loss of 2,720 ft in 5 minutes and covering 16 nm.
The final approach to runway 27R at KORD was conducted from the east, on a heading of 269.0° at 4 nm and 1,069 ft agl.
Landing on runway 27R at KORD, which is 7,481 ft long, was achieved with a threshold speed of 151 kt; touchdown occurred 826 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 141 kt, with a smooth touchdown rate of minus 140 fpm and perfect runway alignment. Local weather reported a temperature of 101 °F, wind 2 kt from 0°, a crosswind of 2 kt and no headwind component.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 5,270 ft, representing 70 % of the runway, and the aircraft maintained perfect alignment throughout the deceleration phase.
Taxiing from the runway to the parking area required 31 minutes and traversed 4 nm.
In total, the flight covered 1,175 nm, lasted 191 minutes, and consumed 14,667 lb of fuel.
The Boeing 737-MAX8, scored 96.5%, entered the final approach to runway 27R at KORD Chicago O’Hare International Airport from the east on a heading of 269.0° at 4 nm and 1,069 ft agl, with temperature 101 °F, wind 2 kt from 0°, crosswind 2 kt and headwind 0 kt.
At threshold the aircraft maintained a good height and a good threshold speed of 151 kt.
Touchdown occurred 826 ft beyond the touchdown zone; the speed of 141 kt was a little fast, the vertical rate was smooth at -140 fpm, and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 5,270 ft, representing 70 % of the 7,481-ft runway, and rollout alignment remained perfect.
Reduce the touchdown point to land within the designated zone and trim the approach speed a few knots lower to keep the touchdown speed within the optimal range.
