MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,864 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 466 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a landing score of 98.2%! This is an excellent performance that showcases your skill and expertise as a pilot.
In the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was spot on, indicating a high level of precision in your approach. While your speed was slightly below target, this can easily be adjusted with practice and attention to detail.
During the Landing Phase, your threshold height was good and your landing flare was executed perfectly. This demonstrates your ability to control the aircraft smoothly and accurately during the critical moments before touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was smooth and your speed was right on target. The touchdown point being 113m beyond the touchdown zone is a minor deviation that can be improved with practice. Additionally, your runway touchdown position was only 5.9m from the centerline, showing excellent alignment with the runway.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was just 5.5m from the centerline, indicating a consistent performance throughout the landing process.
Overall, your performance during this landing was truly impressive. With a few minor adjustments and continued practice, you have the potential to achieve even higher scores in the future. Keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence in your flying abilities. Well done!
