Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.

Plan view — the full 597 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 148 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
This flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took 19 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna Skyhawk, then departed from runway 10 at EDWG Wangerooge Airport. The takeoff distance was 428 meters, which is 50% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 66 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16°C and a wind speed of 12 knots from a direction of 330°. This resulted in a crosswind of 10 knots and a tailwind of 7 knots. The aircraft took off and began its enroute climb, which started overhead EDWG Wangerooge Airport. The climb was from an altitude of 294 feet above sea level to 880 feet above sea level, an increase of 586 feet in just 1 minute, covering a distance of 1 nautical mile.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 9 minutes and covered a distance of 13 nautical miles. This phase of the flight took place 1 mile east of Wangerooge, Germany. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 23 at EDWL Langeoog Airport, approaching from the northeast at a heading of 235.0° and at an altitude of 898 feet above ground level, 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 23 at EDWL Langeoog Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 146 meters, which is well within the runway length of 597 meters. The touchdown speed was 43 knots, and the touchdown rate was -185 feet per minute, both of which were good. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.4 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 17°C and a wind speed of 10 knots from a direction of 333°, resulting in a crosswind of 10 knots and a tailwind of 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 326 meters, which is 55% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The total flight distance was 20 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 22 minutes. The aircraft used 7 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Skyhawk successfully landed at EDWL Langeoog Airport, achieving a score of 95.1%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 235.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 898 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is crucial for a safe landing.
Upon reaching the threshold speed of 45 knots, the pilot was reminded to be cautious not to stall, as the speed was well below the target. The touchdown distance of 146 meters was considered good, and the touchdown speed of 43 knots was also within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate of -185 feet per minute (fpm) was good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
However, there was a slight misalignment of the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 5.4 meters off the centerline. This may have been due to the crosswind, which was 10 knots, or the tailwind, which was 1 knot. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 17°C and a wind direction of 333°, may have also contributed to the slight deviation.
Despite the minor misalignment, the total landing distance of 326 meters was only 55% of the runway length, indicating a good rollout alignment. The runway rollout alignment was described as very good, suggesting that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and judgment throughout the approach and landing phases.
