MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,077 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 850 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 19 at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport (KMKC) in Kansas City, Missouri. The takeoff distance was 3,928 feet, which accounted for 63% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 154 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 53°F and a wind speed of 18 knots from a direction of 320°. The crosswind component was 14 knots, while the tailwind component was 11 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile west of Kansas City, and climbed from an altitude of 1,048 feet above sea level to 17,562 feet above sea level, an increase of 16,514 feet, in 12 minutes and covering a distance of 42 nautical miles.
As the aircraft continued its journey, it began its enroute descent 2 miles northwest of Ottawa, Kansas, and descended from 17,716 feet above sea level to 15,630 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,086 feet, in 3 minutes and covering a distance of 13 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, starting 2 miles west of Williamsburg, Kansas, and lasted for 9 minutes, covering a distance of 36 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began another descent phase, starting overhead Madison, Kansas, and descended from 15,646 feet above sea level to 3,547 feet above sea level, a decrease of 12,099 feet, in 14 minutes and covering a distance of 58 nautical miles. Following this descent, the aircraft entered another level cruise phase, starting 1 mile east of Rose Hill, Kansas, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 36 at Colonel James Jabara Airport (KAAO) was made from the south, with a heading of 8.0° and at an altitude of 1,302 feet above ground level, 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 36, which had a length of 6,077 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 118 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 850 feet, but the touchdown speed of 113 knots was slightly fast. The touchdown rate was firm at -360 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 11 feet from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 52°F and a wind speed of 19 knots from a direction of 320°, with a crosswind component of 14 knots and a headwind component of 13 knots.
The total landing distance was 2,121 feet, which accounted for 35% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking area took 6 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 166 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 62 minutes. The aircraft used 2,497 pounds of fuel during the flight.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed at Colonel James Jabara Airport (KAAO) with a score of 97.7%. The final approach was conducted from the south, heading 8.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,302 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft touched down on runway 36, which has a length of 6,077 feet.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. The threshold speed of 118 knots was also within the acceptable range, demonstrating the pilot's ability to control the aircraft's speed during the landing. The touchdown distance of 850 feet was also good, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down within a safe distance from the runway threshold.
However, the touchdown speed of 113 knots was slightly faster than the recommended speed, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate of -360 feet per minute (fpm). This could potentially have caused some stress on the aircraft's landing gear and may have affected the overall comfort of the passengers.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 11 feet from the centerline, which may have required some correction by the pilot during the rollout. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing included a temperature of 52°F, a wind speed of 19 knots from 320°, resulting in a crosswind of 14 knots and a headwind of 13 knots.
The total landing distance of 2,121 feet was 35% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout and bring it to a safe stop. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated good skills and control during the approach and landing.
