Departure
Make small rudder corrections against a point at the far end to hold the centreline.
What happened: During the ground roll you drifted 38 ft off the runway centreline.
Watch for: Watch runway alignment against the centreline, correcting with small rudder inputs.

Arrival
Add power on short final to hold speed at 124 kt, correcting the slow threshold speed before it carries through to the flare.
What happened: Threshold speed was slow at 110 kt against 124 kt, and touchdown followed short of the aim point at 497 ft. Crossing the threshold slow like this usually carries the touchdown short.
Watch for: Airspeed indicator against 124 kt on short final.
Every knot above Vref is stored kinetic energy, and energy stored at the threshold must be dissipated in ground effect before the aeroplane will stop flying. Because kinetic energy scales with the square of speed, the excess you must dissipate grows fast. At a 45-knot approach, five knots hot is over a tenth more speed and roughly a quarter more energy to get rid of in ground effect. This is why the fix is never in the flare. It was decided three miles earlier, on final, at the airspeed indicator.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 9,684 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 497 ft short of the threshold. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from KBOI Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field, the aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. With a takeoff roll on runway 10R, the aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 139 knots, achieving liftoff in a distance of 3,125 feet, which represented 32% of the available runway length.
As the aircraft climbed away from KBOI, it began its enroute climb, ascending from an initial altitude of 3,803 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 25,010 feet, an increase of 21,207 feet in just 9 minutes. This climb phase covered a distance of 53 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 38 minutes and covered a distance of 320 nautical miles, positioning the aircraft 11 miles east of the 12OR Skinner Ranch Airport in Jordan Valley, Oregon. Following this, the aircraft began its enroute descent, descending from 25,007 feet to 1,284 feet above sea level in 15 minutes, covering a distance of 84 nautical miles. The descent phase concluded with the aircraft overhead North Highlands, California.
As the aircraft approached its destination, KSJC Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, it began its final approach to runway 12L from the northwest, aligning itself with the runway at an altitude of 1,232 feet above ground level. Touchdown occurred before the threshold, with a touchdown speed of 102 knots and a touchdown rate of -209 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the runway rollout alignment was perfect. Following a taxiing period of less than 1 minute, the aircraft arrived at the parking area, having completed a total flight distance of 464 nautical miles in 68 minutes, using 392 pounds of fuel in the process.
The aircraft, C750, successfully executed a final approach to runway 12L at KSJC Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport from the north west, aligning with the runway heading of 139.0° at a distance of 4 nm and an altitude of 1,232 ft above ground level. The approach quality was exceptional, with a smooth and controlled descent. The aircraft touched down before the threshold, demonstrating a high degree of precision and control.
The touchdown speed of 102 kt was within the acceptable range, indicating a well-executed flare and touchdown. However, the touchdown rate of -209 fpm was slightly higher than ideal, suggesting a slightly longer than optimal touchdown distance. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft remaining centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 59°F and a light wind of 2 kt at 270°, contributed to a stable and predictable approach.
The aircraft's rollout was flawless, with perfect alignment along the centerline of the runway. The total landing distance of 1,914 ft, which accounted for 27% of the runway, was within the acceptable range. Overall, the landing was highly successful, with a score of 99.7% reflecting the high level of proficiency and control demonstrated by the pilot.
