Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,664 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,664 m of the 3,290 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 530 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The Airbus A320 then departed from runway 03 at PSP1 Bohol-Panglao, with a takeoff distance of 1,294 meters, which accounted for 52% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 144 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 29°C, a wind speed of 11 knots at 25°, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 11 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb 1 mile east of Panglao, Central Visayas, Philippines, and ascended from an altitude of 1,082 feet above sea level to 4,117 feet above sea level, an increase of 3,035 feet in just 4 minutes, covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise began 5 miles northwest of Loon, Central Visayas, Philippines, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 7 miles southeast of San Fernando, Central Visayas, Philippines, and the aircraft descended from 4,115 feet above sea level to 1,296 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,818 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 04 at RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport was made from the southwest, heading 45.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,261 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 04 at RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport was successful, with a runway length of 3,290 meters. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 142 knots. The touchdown point was 114 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 134 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -255 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.0 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 30°C, a wind speed of 9 knots at 0°, resulting in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 7 knots. The total landing distance was 1,583 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.1 meters from the centerline. After landing, the aircraft taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight distance was 50 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 24 minutes. The aircraft used 821 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport, achieving a score of 94.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 45.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,261 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was made to runway 04, which has a length of 3,290 meters.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down slightly beyond the touchdown zone, 114 meters past the designated area. The touchdown speed of 134 knots was slightly above the target speed, indicating that the pilot may have been able to maintain a more controlled descent. The touchdown rate of -255 feet per minute (fpm) was considered fair, suggesting that the aircraft was able to absorb the impact of landing without excessive deceleration.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline, deviating by 7.0 meters. This may have been due to a slight miscalculation of the aircraft's position or a minor deviation from the intended flight path. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 30°C and a wind speed of 9 knots at 0°. The crosswind and headwind components were both 7 knots, which may have contributed to the slight misalignment.
The total landing distance of 1,583 meters was 48% of the runway length, indicating that the aircraft was able to stop within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned from the centerline, deviating by 8.1 meters. This may have been due to a combination of factors, including the aircraft's speed and the pilot's control inputs during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score of 94.9%. However, there were some minor deviations from the intended flight path and touchdown zone, which may be addressed through further training or adjustments to the aircraft's performance.
