Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,450 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 458 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took approximately 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700, then departed from runway 04 at WMKP Penang International Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,085 meters, which accounted for 32% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 143 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 34 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 2 knots at 70 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it began its enroute climb, which started approximately 1 mile northeast of WMKP Penang International Airport. The climb took 29 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,043 feet above sea level to 38,624 feet above sea level, an increase of 37,580 feet. The enroute climb covered a distance of 198 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which began approximately 6 miles northwest of Kuala Sungai Baru in Malaysia. This phase of the flight lasted for 210 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 2,140 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, which started approximately 4 miles south of Dalwallinu in Western Australia. The descent took 2 minutes, during which the aircraft decreased its altitude from 39,066 feet above sea level to 38,309 feet above sea level, a decrease of 757 feet. The enroute descent covered a distance of 12 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which began approximately 8 miles west of YBIU Ballidu Airport Wongan Hills in Western Australia. This phase of the flight lasted for 2 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 12 nautical miles.
As the aircraft continued its descent, it began another enroute descent phase, which started approximately 11 miles northwest of Wongan Hills in Western Australia. The descent took 14 minutes, during which the aircraft decreased its altitude from 38,194 feet above sea level to 3,034 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,160 feet. The enroute descent covered a distance of 89 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which began overhead Brookdale in Western Australia. This phase of the flight lasted for 2 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 5 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its final destination, it began its final descent phase, which started overhead Piara Waters in Western Australia. The descent took 2 minutes, during which the aircraft decreased its altitude from 2,994 feet above sea level to 1,351 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,643 feet. The final descent covered a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 03 at YPPH Perth International Airport, which was located to the south. The aircraft was heading at 14.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,288 feet above ground level.
The aircraft landed safely on runway 03 at YPPH Perth International Airport, which had a length of 3,450 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed at 132 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 457 meters, but the touchdown speed was a little fast at 121 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -265 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 70 degrees. The crosswind was 4
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft successfully landed at YPPH Perth International Airport, achieving a score of 97.9%. The final approach to runway 03 was conducted from the south, with a heading of 14.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,288 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 132 knots, which was slightly above the target threshold speed. However, the touchdown distance of 457 meters was considered good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 121 knots was a little fast, but this did not significantly impact the overall performance of the landing.
The aircraft's rate of descent was fair at -265 feet per minute (fpm), which is a reasonable rate for a controlled landing. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 28°C and a light wind of 4 knots at 70°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 3 knots. These conditions did not pose a significant challenge to the landing.
The total landing distance of 955 meters was 28% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This suggests that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop in a relatively short distance, indicating good control and braking performance. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score of 97.9%. The pilots demonstrated good control and management of the aircraft during the final approach and landing phases, resulting in a smooth and controlled touchdown.
