MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,040 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 317 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-600 taxied from the parking area to runway 15L at KIAH George Bush International Airport. The taxi-out required 6 minutes and covered 2 nm.
The aircraft commenced the departure roll on runway 15L at KIAH. The takeoff run measured 1,209 m, representing 33 % of the runway, and liftoff was achieved at 140 kt. Local weather was temperature 30 °C with wind 3 kt from 260°, a crosswind component of 3 kt and a tailwind component of 1 kt.
Climb began 1 mile south of KIAH, with the airplane ascending from 1,065 ft asl to 40,824 ft asl, an increase of 39,760 ft. The climb was completed in 46 minutes while covering 340 nm.
Level cruise started 2 miles west of 5LA6 E-8 Tank Battery Seaplane Base Venice and continued for 171 minutes, during which 1,406 nm were flown.
Descent commenced 14 miles west of ZC05 San Juan Static Carrier - CVN76. The aircraft descended from 40,582 ft asl to 2,369 ft asl, a loss of 38,212 ft, in 14 minutes and covered 99 nm.
A second level cruise segment began 18 miles west of TISX Henry E Rohlsen Airport, lasting 4 minutes and spanning 14 nm.
Final approach to runway 10 at TISX Henry E Rohlsen Airport was executed from the west, on a heading of 84.0°, at 4 nm and 1,300 ft agl.
Landing on runway 10, whose length is 3,040 m, was performed with a good threshold height. The threshold speed was slightly above target at 126 kt. Touchdown occurred 318 m down the runway at a speed of 119 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 160 fpm and very good runway touchdown alignment. Local weather at the time was temperature 26 °C, wind 4 kt from 80°, crosswind 0 kt and headwind 4 kt.
The total landing distance recorded was 887 m, representing 29 % of the runway, and runway rollout alignment was perfect.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 1,867 nm, took 245, and consumed 10,277 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 10 at TISX Henry E Rohlsen Airport was flown from the west on a heading of 84.0° at 4 nm and 1,300 ft agl, with a temperature of 26 °C, a head-wind component of 4 kt from 80°, and no cross-wind.
The threshold height was reported as good and the threshold speed was slightly above target at 126 kt.
Touchdown occurred 318 m down the runway; the touchdown speed was a little fast at 119 kt, the vertical rate was good at minus 160 fpm, and runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The aircraft rolled out over a total landing distance of 887 m, representing 29 % of the 3,040 m runway, and rollout alignment was perfect.
To tighten the landing profile, reduce the approach and touchdown speeds to meet the target values, which will further improve the margin on the already excellent 99.9 % score.
