Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,007 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 357 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Fantastic job on achieving a landing score of 97.0%! Your overall performance was excellent, with only a few areas where improvements can be made.
During the Approach Phase, you had a poor descent path below the glideslope limit and your speed was slightly below target. Focus on maintaining a steady descent path and ensuring your speed stays within the recommended range to improve in this area.
In the Landing Phase, your threshold height was below the target, but you executed a good landing flare. Keep working on hitting the correct threshold height while continuing to nail your landing flare for a smoother touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was excellent and your speed was on target. It's great to see that you were able to touch down within the touchdown zone and maintain a close distance to the runway centerline. Keep up the good work in this phase of the landing.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good. Continue to focus on maintaining a straight line down the runway to improve your overall alignment during rollout.
Overall, you should be incredibly proud of your high landing score. With a little bit of fine-tuning in the areas mentioned, you will continue to excel in your aircraft landings. Keep up the great work and keep striving for improvement!
