Track the centreline on final
Preparing for a stable approach will give you time to decide on whether to attempt the landing or going around. Too much altitude with a high sink rate will result in carrying too much speed onto the runway. Configuring flaps and the gear late also won't help the speed decay.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.

The rest of the report
The Airbus A220-300 taxied from the parking area to runway 27L at KPHL in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 27L, the aircraft used a takeoff distance of 3,803 ft, representing 38 % of the runway, and lifted off at 149 kt. Ambient conditions were 84 °F with a wind of 8 kt from 310°, providing a 5 kt headwind and a 7 kt crosswind.
Climb commenced overhead the 9N2 Philadelphia Seaplane Base, rising from 965 ft asl to 30,713 ft asl - a gain of 29,748 ft - over 18 minutes while covering 114 nm.
Level cruise began 1 mile southeast of Branford Center, lasting 3 minutes and extending for 24 nm.
The first en-route descent started over Laurel Hollow, descending from 30,713 ft asl to 22,709 ft asl, a loss of 8,003 ft in 5 minutes and spanning 39 nm.
A second descent began 2 miles south of Salem, dropping from 22,714 ft asl to 1,253 ft asl, a decrease of 21,461 ft over 17 minutes and covering 82 nm.
Final approach to runway 04R at KBOS was executed from the south, on a heading of 19.0° at 4 nm and 1,226 ft agl.
Landing on runway 04R, which is 8,851 ft long, occurred with a threshold speed of 138 kt. Touchdown was recorded at 1,202 ft from the threshold, at 132 kt, with a firm touchdown rate of minus 308 fpm and a lateral deviation of 18 ft from the centreline. Weather at the time was 66 °F with a wind of 8 kt from 67°, giving a 6 kt headwind and a 6 kt crosswind. Total landing distance measured 4,649 ft, or 53 % of the runway.
Runway rollout alignment was reported as very good.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 8 minutes, traversing 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered 266 nm, took 54 minutes, and consumed 3,744 lb of fuel.
The Airbus A220-300 conducted the final approach to runway 04R at KBOS Logan International Airport from the south, flying a heading of 19.0° at 4 nm and 1,226 ft above ground level. The approach was assessed as unstable at the 1,000 ft gate, being off the centreline.
At the threshold the aircraft encountered a good threshold height and established a good threshold speed of 138 kt. The flare was executed in line with the indicated parameters.
Touchdown occurred 1,202 ft down the runway at a speed of 132 kt, both described as good. The touchdown rate was firm at minus 308 fpm and the touchdown point was slightly misaligned by 18 ft from the centreline.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 4,649 ft, representing 53 % of the 8,851-ft runway, and the runway rollout alignment was very good.
Maintain precise centreline tracking on final to achieve a stabilised approach and refine flare timing to bring the touchdown point closer to the centreline, which will further optimise the already high landing score.
