Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,996 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 373 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 20L at Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The takeoff distance was 940 meters, which accounted for 71% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 144 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 2 knots at 89 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 0 knots. After departing from Santos Dumont Airport, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport and took the aircraft up to an altitude of 25,955 feet above sea level. This climb covered a distance of 71 nautical miles and took 15 minutes, with an increase in altitude of 25,491 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 9 miles west of Angra dos Reis Airport. This phase lasted for 6 minutes and covered a distance of 47 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 14 miles southeast of Taubaté Airport. The descent took the aircraft down from an altitude of 25,969 feet to 3,739 feet above sea level, covering a distance of 71 nautical miles and taking 19 minutes.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its final approach to runway 10R at André Franco Montoro International Airport. The approach was made from the west, with a heading of 74.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,281 feet above ground level. The landing was made on the runway, which had a length of 2,996 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 140 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 376 meters, and the touchdown speed was 136 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was hard at -419 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 2 knots at 130 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 1 knot. The total landing distance was 1,404 meters, which accounted for 47% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 198 nautical miles, and the flight took 52 minutes. The aircraft used 2,926 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at SBGR André Franco Montoro International Airport, achieving a high score of 97.3%. The final approach to runway 10R was conducted from the west, with a heading of 74.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,281 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft's performance during the landing was impressive, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 140 knots. The touchdown distance of 376 meters was also within acceptable limits, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 136 knots was also satisfactory, suggesting that the pilot had maintained a stable approach.
However, the touchdown rate of -419 feet per minute (fpm) was considered hard, which may indicate a slightly aggressive approach or a need for further refinement in the pilot's landing technique. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain a stable and aligned approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 22°C and a gentle wind of 2 knots at 130°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot, which had a negligible impact on the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,404 meters was 47% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the pilot had maintained control and stability throughout the landing process. Overall, the landing was a success, with the aircraft touching down safely and efficiently on the runway.
