Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,447 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 578 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, an Airbus A319, then departed from runway 15 at LICR Reggio Calabria Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,079 meters, which accounted for 64% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 138 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 11°C, with a wind speed of 3 knots at 50°.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb 1 mile west of Oliveto, in Calabria, Italy. The climb took 17 minutes and covered 93 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,382 feet above sea level to 36,266 feet above sea level, an increase of 34,884 feet. The enroute level cruise then began 45 miles northwest of Stromboli, in Sicilia, Italy, and lasted for 44 minutes, covering 313 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 2 miles southwest of Collesalvetti, in Toscana, Italy, and took 22 minutes to descend from 36,314 feet above sea level to 1,636 feet above sea level, a decrease of 34,678 feet. The descent covered 119 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 36 at LIML Milano Linate Airport was made from the south, heading 356.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,278 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 36 at LIML Milano Linate Airport was successful, with a total landing distance of 1,388 meters, which accounted for 57% of the runway. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 134 knots. The touchdown point was 162 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 128 knots. The touchdown rate was firm at -382 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 9°C, with a wind speed of 0 knots at 360°. The crosswind and headwind were both 0 knots. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking from the runway, which took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 532 nautical miles, and the flight used 3,224 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A319 successfully landed at LIML Milano Linate Airport, achieving a score of 95.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 356.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,278 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft landed on runway 36, which has a length of 2,447 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 134 knots. This minor deviation did not significantly impact the overall performance of the landing. The touchdown point was 162 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 128 knots was a bit faster than the ideal speed, resulting in a firm touchdown rate of -382 feet per minute (fpm).
Despite the slight deviations in speed and touchdown point, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled and aligned with the runway during the landing. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 9°C and a wind speed of 0 knots from 360°. This resulted in a zero crosswind and headwind, making the landing even more challenging and impressive.
The total landing distance of 1,388 meters was 57% of the runway length, which is a relatively efficient use of the available runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing. Overall, the Airbus A319's landing at LIML Milano Linate Airport was a success, with a high score and impressive performance.
