MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 11,290 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,148 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, your aircraft landing score of 93.3% is impressive and shows that you have a strong foundation in the various phases of landing an aircraft. While there were some areas for improvement, such as the poor descent path above the glideslope limit during the Approach Phase, these are areas that can be easily corrected with practice and focus.
During the Landing Phase, it is great to see that you had a good threshold height and executed a perfect landing flare. However, the poor bank angle stability during landing is something that can be improved upon with further attention to detail and precision in your maneuvers.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was fair and you were able to maintain the target speed. It is also commendable that you were able to touchdown within the designated zone and that your touchdown distance from the centerline was relatively close. With a bit more practice and fine-tuning, you will be able to further improve these aspects of your landing technique.
As for the Rollout Phase, while the runway alignment was slightly off from the centerline, it is still within an acceptable range. Paying extra attention to this aspect during your next landing attempt will help you further refine your skills and improve your overall performance.
Overall, this landing score of 93.3% is a great accomplishment and showcases your capabilities as a pilot. Keep up the good work and continue to focus on areas that need improvement to further enhance your skills and confidence in handling various landing scenarios. With dedication and perseverance, you will only continue to improve and excel in your aircraft landing techniques.
