Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,185 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 473 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from GMTT Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport in Morocco, the Airbus A320 began its journey with a taxiing period of 5 minutes, covering a distance of 1 nautical mile to reach the runway. The departure roll commenced on runway 28, with the aircraft taking off in a 43% utilization of the available runway length. The takeoff distance of 1,292 meters was achieved at a liftoff speed of 154 knots, with a local temperature of 23°C and wind conditions of 8 knots at 259 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute level, it started at 1 mile west of the departure airport, ascending from 985 feet above sea level to 34,981 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 119 nautical miles. The climb phase was characterized by a significant increase in altitude, with a total ascent of 33,996 feet. The aircraft then transitioned into a 25-minute cruise phase, lasting 178 nautical miles, before beginning its descent to 35,000 feet. The descent phase, which started 31 miles west of GMMX Menara Airport, saw the aircraft decrease in altitude by 30,079 feet in 15 minutes, covering 95 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a second cruise phase, lasting 45 minutes and covering 155 nautical miles, before commencing its final descent.
The final approach to runway 27 at GMAD Al Massira Airport was initiated from the east, with the aircraft heading 272.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,260 feet above ground level. The landing was executed with a threshold height well above target and a threshold speed of 133 knots. However, the touchdown point was 56 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 129 knots and a hard touchdown rate of -476 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 14.8 meters from the centerline, and the runway rollout alignment was also misaligned by 20.9 meters. The total landing distance was 1,132 meters, utilizing 36% of the available runway length. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile in 3 minutes. The total flight distance was 569 nautical miles, with a fuel consumption of 4,696 kilograms and a flight duration of 119 minutes.
The final approach to runway 27 at GMAD Al Massira Airport from the east was initiated at a distance of 4 nm and an altitude of 1,260 ft agl, heading 272.0°. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a threshold height of 71 ft agl, which was well above the target. The threshold speed of 133 kt was within the acceptable range, indicating a good control of the aircraft's descent and speed.
As the aircraft touched down 56 m beyond the touchdown zone, the touchdown speed of 129 kt was slightly above the recommended value, resulting in a hard touchdown rate of -476 fpm. The runway touchdown position was also misaligned by 14.8 m from the centreline, which could have contributed to the slightly fast touchdown speed. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 19 °C and a wind of 20 kt at 170°, resulted in a moderate crosswind component of 20 kt and a slight tailwind of 4 kt.
The total landing distance of 1,132 m was 36% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was misaligned by 20.9 m from the centreline, which could have been a result of the initial touchdown position being off-centre. Overall, the landing performance scored 80.5%, reflecting a good but not exceptional performance.
